  1. Drag and Drop from Photoshop Not Working

    Illustrator Version 28.3, Photoshop Version 25.5.1

    Attempting to drag and drop a layer from photoshop into illustrator and the object is not appearing in illustrator. I can usually do this with no issues. I've tried rasterizing and making the image a smart object but nothing seems to fix the bug. This has just been an issue within the past 2 days.

  2. Stability update made Illustrator very unstable

    I noticed the 27/07/2020 update described itself as addressing stability issues, which I didn't have. Since the update ran, 3 hours ago, I've had three crashes - all when copying text and graphics together. My crash report crashed too.

  3. Text missing in SVG files

    This is the first time trying to use Illustrator since it updated to the newest version (23.0.1) and updating my Mac to High Sierra (10.14). I have previously used Illustrator to edit SVG files, specifically the text in those files. When I open similar SVG files in the new Illustrator, all of my text is missing. My computer is due for a small update which will go through later tonight but this seems like a bug within Illustrator.   4. graphic style library don't load at startup

    Hello,

    Even with the option "persistent" ticked, custom graphic Style libraries don't reopen automatically.

  5. Touch Bar Color Controls are Broken

    Touch bar controls do not change the color of objects when using sliders, and swatches save to touch bar but not to actual swatches panel. Cannot delete swatches from Touch Bar.

  6. ダイレクト選択ツールの動作がおかしい - Direct Selecting Tool is not working properly.

    ダイレクト選択ツールの動作がおかしいです。(English below Japanese)
    「グリッドにスナップ」がONの状態で、グリッドに沿っていないオブジェクトの辺やアンカーポイントをダイレクト選択ツールでクリックしようとしても選択できません。また、クリッピングマスクを施した画像に関しては、「グリッドにスナップ」がOFFの状態であっても、マスクの辺やアンカーポイントを選択できません。
    このようなことは以前は発生していませんでした。なお、環境設定をリセットしても直りません。

    使用OS：mac OS Sequoia（バージョン15.3.2）
    Illustratorのバージョン：29.4

    The direct selection tool is not working properly.
    When “Snap to Grid” is enabled, clicking on an edge or anchor point of an object that does not follow the grid will not select it correctly. Also, regarding clipping masks, even if “snap to grid” is disabled, the edge or anchor point cannot be selected.
    This troubling event had not occurred before. Resetting the preferences does not fix the problem.

    OS: mac OS Sequoia (ver.15.3.2)
    Illustrator: ver.29.4

  7. Images within opacity masks shift

    When using multiple opacity masks in a file in an earlier version, including 29.31. Opening it in illustrator 29.4 almost all the images used for the masks are repositioned to the center of the page.

  8. Missing fonts warning when no fonts are missing

    Every time I open any illustrator document, the missing fonts box shows up telling me all of the fonts are missing, but when I click replace fonts, they don't show as missing any more and there's no issue. This is a really annoying bug.

  9. Threaded text area box disappears after saving

    MacOS Ventura 13.7
    Illustrator 28.6 and newer

    When I convert a document to curves, save a copy, and then press Undo so I can have the text boxes editable again. As soon as I press Save after doing this, the second text frame in a thumbnail in Finder vanishes, while still existing in the document.

  10. リピート機能を適用したオブジェクトに再配色が効かない

    リピート機能（ミラー、ラジアル、グリッドのいずれも）を適用すると再配色で色を変更するできなくなります。
    ダブルクリックなどして編集モードにすればできますが、他のオブジェクトと同時にできなければあまり意味がありません。

    通常の状態で再配色でカラーが管理できるようにしてください。

  11. 中間色のあるグラデーションのあるPDFが正しく読み込めず色情報が消えてしまいます

    中間色がなければ正しく読み込めます。
    問題のPDFはインデザイン等で長方形を設定し塗りのグラデーションで中間色を設定すれば作成でき、PDFにエクスポートできます。
    編集をしたいので、"配置(Place)"以外の方法で解決したいです。

    追加情報をありがとうございました。

    InDesign でグラデーションバーの100％の位置にカラーストップがセットされていない場合に、Illustrator で PDF を開いた時にグラデーションのカラーが消えてしまうようです。

    今後、開発に進捗がありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。

  12. 2021,2022でpdf書き出し時に圧縮した画像に線出る

    macOS MojaveからMonterey
    Mac Pro Late2013
    Illustrator 2021(25.4.3) 、2022(26.0.2)

    １，Photoshopレイヤーで背景がない状態（背景を複製して元の背景を削除した状態）の画像をレイヤーがいきる保存形式（psd,tiff等）で保存。
    ２，Illustratorに配置し（マスクはせず角版で。また、書き出しで圧縮が働くように画像は50%ぐらいに縮小）pdf書き出しをする。
    ３，書き出し設定で圧縮とする。（プリセット[PDF/X-4:2008(日本)]でも可）
    ４，Acrobatで書き出したPDFを確認すると画像の左右どちらかに線が発生する。
    ５、印刷にも反映される。

  13. 複数レイヤーの要素に対して同時に「パスの自由変形」を行うとレイヤーから要素が消えてしまう / Free Transform in distort mode forces objects from different layers to move into the top one

    環境
    OS: Windows10
    AI version 24.1.1(2020)および26.0.2(2022)

    再現手順
    １．複数のレイヤーにある複数の要素を同時に選択
    ２．[自由変形ツール]→[パスの自由変形]で、ガイドのコーナーをドラッグし要素を変形する

    期待する結果
    変形前の元レイヤーに変形後も同様の構成で要素が残る（グループ化しない）version 23(2019)以前の挙動

    実際の結果
    上のレイヤーに要素がグループ化され、他のレイヤーから選択した要素が消えてしまう

    要望
    レイヤー構成を変えずにパスの自由変形で複数レイヤーにわたる要素を調整する必要があります。
    複数レイヤーの要素が選択されている場合は、グループ化せずに元のレイヤーに要素が残るように修正をお願いいたします。

  14. 大きなキャンパス時にピクセルビューにすると、カーソルキーでのオブジェクト移動時に10pxづつ動いてしまう

    1. M1 Mac mini OS 12.1 / Illustrator 26.0.2

    2. 手順
      大きなキャンパスでデータを作成
      既存デザインデータを貼り付け
      ピクセルビューで作業
      ピクセル吸着モードで作業
      キーボードのカーソルキーの左を押す

    3. 想定していた結果
      環境設定では0.2pxに設定されているので、
      1pxづつオブジェクトが移動するはずですが、10pxづつ動いてしまうようです。

    大きなキャンパス時にピクセルビュー+ピクセル吸着モードにすると、カーソルキーでのオブジェクト移動時に10pxづつ動いてしまうようです。

    ご報告内容の現象は、表示メニューの「ピクセルにスナップ」がトリガーになっているようです。

    macOS と Windows 両方で再現しました。

  15. 文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定を含む文字列ペースト結果が不安定

    Windows 10/11の、Illustrator Ver.25.4および26.0.2で起きる不具合です。

    1. 文字組みアキ量設定、禁則処理設定を任意で作成する
    2. それらを適用した文字列を作成する（片方だけでも構わない）
    3. 該当文字列をコピーする
    4. 新規ファイルなどにペーストする

    この場合、文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定はペーストしたファイルと文字列にそのまま反映されるはずですが、反映されず、ペースト先に用意されているプリセットの設定が反映される、または設定「なし」としてペーストされます。
    何度かペーストすると反映される場合がありますが、ペースト時の挙動が不安定としての不具合にナｒいます。

  16. パスファインダーの分割をするとズレが起きる

    Adobe Illustrator 2021、2022、2022(Prerelease)

    ２つの上下に重なった絵柄で、下の絵柄の形に沿って上の絵柄を分割をすると、ほんのコンマ数ミリのズレが起きます。
    100％や200％の拡大率では見えませんが、30000％とか大きい拡大率だと確認できます。
    あとズレているため、余分なパスができてしまい、その後の作業に支障がでます。

  17. アウトライン表示するとCPUプレビューになり重くなる

    アウトライン表示しなければサクサク動く。
    一度でもアウトライン表示するとCPUになり、重くなる。
    illsutratorを再起動しないとGPUに戻らない。

    スペック。

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
    32.0 GB (31.9 GB 使用可能)

  18. 表示拡大時にグレーアウトする

    macOS Catalina 10.15.7
    Mac mini (2018)
    CPU／Intel Core i5 3GHz
    メモリ／16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
    Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
    Adobe illustrator 2021(25.3.1)

    GPUレンダリングはOFF

    画面表示を拡大時（拡大率はまちまち）にグレーアウトする。
    縮小していくと、グレーアウトは直ります。
    会社の同じ環境の人も、同じ現象が起こっています。

    再現ファイルのご提供、および追加情報のご提供により、画面表示のグレーアウト現象を再現確認いたしました。

    ・使用マシンが Intel Mac
    ・環境設定の GPU パフォーマンスが無効
    ・複数ドキュメントを開いている
    ・開いている2番目以降のドキュメントで 1200% 以上にズームする

    上記のすべての条件が揃うと再現されますが、ズームアウトすると表示が戻ります。
    また、GPU パフォーマンスを有効にするほか、単一ドキュメントを開いてでの作業で現象を回避できます。
    この現象は、M1 Mac（M1 ネイティブ、および Rosetta 起動）では再現しません。

    今後、詳細な検証作業を行います。
    情報のアップデートがありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。

  19. New Illustrator 2020 laggy and slow on the simplest of tasks

    Illustrator 2020 is really laggy and slow, only when completing simple tasks like colour picking, moving art-boards, selecting different objects, or even just wanting to zoom in or out.

    General slowness on using Illustrator on Mac is one of the major issues reported in this thread. Illustrator team made significant progress in replacing Illustrator’s GPU rendering engine from OpenGL to macOS Native Metal Rendering Engine – https://developer.apple.com/metal/.
    We have observed common operations like Zoom, Pan, and rendering operations are now smoother in cases where it was sluggish as reported in this thread. We urge Mac users to try the Illustrator Beta build with Metal support and share your feedback.
    Please note, this may not address other performance issues reported in this thread not related to rendering like File Save, Export, or slowness in any particular feature.

  20. Illustrator not working after Oct 2018 update (version 23.0)

    Since the Oct 2018 update, I cannot open or use the program. I see this screen (see attached). Also, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the issue, but since the update a folder has appeared on my desktop named 'GPUCache' with 5 files inside (photo attached)
