  1. Resizing an images crashes the app

    Every time I open Adobe illustrator and resize an image on my artboard, the app freezes and then crashes. I can open the properties on the side and resize the image by typing how many pixels to enlarge or shrink the image. However, if I try to grab one of the Corners of the image and drag to make it larger or smaller, that’s when the app freezes and crashes, leaving my work unsaved. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Illustrator app, verifying and updating my iPadOS and restarting my M4 Apple iPad Pro.

  2. App Crashed when opening a file

    App used to work fine. Now when I try to open a file it takes forever to open, when finally open it shows a black window and the app crashes.

    Need help.

  3. App keeps crashing

    I’ve been using the App for less than 24 hours and it keeps crashing and losing at least an hours worth of work each time. I’m usually just tweaking shapes or moving anchor points. Nothing that should cause major crashes.

  4. anyone addressing bugs or basic malfunctioning?

    As an Illustrator desktop self taught artist/user for about 25 years, I have now struggled with an iPadPro for 18 months. Had I realized the limited functionality and time needed to discover and deal with the daily crashes & bugs, I would never have purchased it. The question being: is Adobe actually attempting to address this? OR is this just what I have to accept & plan for in my process? This help link appears to provide very little support or encouragement about the future of Illustrator on the iPad.

    App crashes within a minute or two of opening. iOS and app are up to date and I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it continues to crash shortly after opening it.

  6. 「新規作成」→「ファイルを作成」ができない

    Illustrator ipadで問題が発生しておりますので、ご助言いただきたいです
    結論から申しますと、新規作成ができません
    どのような状態かと申しますと、当該Appを開き

    「新規作成」→「ファイルを作成」

    しばらくウェイト状態ののち、またホーム画面に戻ってしまいます
    再度、新規作成→ファイルを作成するも、結果は同じ

    どのような原因が考えられるか教えてください

    追記:
    「学ぶ」→「実践チュートリアル」から各チュートリアル(はじめに/iPad版の機能/概要)がタッチしてもウェイト状態になるだけで開きません
    但し、ビデオチュートリアルは正常に開くことができます

  8. File won’t open, blank screen instead

    I’m a new user to illustrator for iPad. I’ve been working on a file that has kept crashing the past several days. For the last two days, I can’t even open the file. When I click it, I see the “creating preview” dialogue box. It loads fully then disappears. I click the file again, the “creating preview” dialogue box appears again. This time the file opens but I am met with a blank screen. No canvas, no layers, nothing. Then when I try to go back to the Home Screen, it doesn’t work.

  9. Random zoom in breaking my workflow | Can you help?

    iPad版 バージョン3.0.3、iPad第9世代 OS16.4.1
    ファイルを開こうとすると落ちる。開けても真っ白で何も映らない。(レイヤープレビューには表示あり) 再インストールしても変わらないため作業が進まず困っている。

    I can highlight and create text boxes but when I attempt to type nothing Inputs and it selects other tools.

  16. Fill compound paths become empty and unusable

    THIS IS A BUG. I have filled compound paths that I’m working with. Many suddenly become ghost items. They paths are listed in the layers panel, but can’t be selected. After a save and re-open, the fill is gone from the thumbnail. They remain unselectable and uneditable. I’m not sure if this ghosting happens after turning off and on the visibility.

  18. Colors changing when reopening the file

    The colors of the images I add in my file on IPad become all fade as soon as I close my file and I reopen it, and if I want to have the colors on the images as lively as they’re supposed to be when exporting the file, I need to re-import all the said images every time close/reopen the file.

  19. Pen and Text tools do not snap to grid

    When snap to grid is active, pen and text tools do not snap to grid.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. set grid active
    2. set snap to grid active
    3. select pen or text tool
    4. draw with pen or enter text on artboard
    5. drawing/text does not snap to grid

  20. Ruler origin does not snap to grid

    When snap to grid is active, dragging the rulers' origin (from the top left of the rulers) does not snap to grid

    steps to reproduce:
    1. set grid active
    2. set snap to grid active
    3. set rulers active
    4. select and drag the rulers' origin to a new location on the artboard
    5. origin does not snap to grid
