i literally have to restart my app every 5 minutes
i have to restart my app every 5 minutes (not exaggerating) because so many features stop working. zoom, drawing, color picking, etc. i pay $60/mo for these apps and i’m not even guaranteed proper functionality.

Colors Dark Blue immediately switches to Dark Purple
Whenever I create use the color blue ex: 0004FF, along the ranges of dark blue, it automatically goes to purple. 391293 (Along that range). When I try to make the swatch of my dark blue, it immediately adds a dark purple swatch of that variant.
I never had this issue before until now. I am working on the newest iPad Pro in color mode CMYK.2 votes -
I Have to Constantly Lock Layers
I have to constantly lock and unlock layers, both while actively working on a file AND before saving it, to prevent their contents from suddenly—for NO apparent reason—disappearing!
The layers remain but are now empty! I can sometimes retrieve their content by reverting to an earlier version, but half the time no previous ones exist.2 votes -
How do I fix bug

Creating a new file crashes the app
I am not able to create any new file on my iPad Pro 13 me iPad Pro version of illustrator, or it will crash automatically once I do.

ios18 iPad
AI not working on ios18 ipad (beta).
The app opens normally. You can view your assets. However, as soon as you open an asset or want to start a new creation, the program ALWAYS crashes. Not usable under ios18. At least until the official launch of ios18 this should be fixed.2 votes -
When objects are Hidden, they behave as if they are Locked
If a Layer contains multiple Objects, and one of those Objects is Hidden, that Hidden object will not move/transform when the Layer is moved/transformed, as if it were locked in place.
This is quite problematic as I very often transform Layers that contain temporarily Hidden objects, only to later find that the Hidden Objects have not moved with the rest of the Layer.
Ex: A layer contains several iterations of a particular icon design in the same position. Two iterations are Hidden, and one is Visible because I have yet to decide which I like best. Later on, I find that the two Hidden iterations have not followed the many adjustments made to that layer.
This also alters the Layer’s bounding box as it expands to contain the unmoved Hidden object which leads to a handful of other issues.
I’m not sure why ‘Hiding’ an object would do anything other than set it’s opacity to 0%.

Latest illustrator for iPad version 3.0.6 stops responding and doesn’t save
While zoomed into the canvas and using the blob brush, the canvas stops responding - you can’t change it at all. You can click the back button, and it says ‘saving’ but it stays in that forever and never saves.

App crashes as soon as I select several Items and try to copy them
The application crashes and closes, all work is lost, this issue started yesterday, its delaying all my work, please help me fix this.

Fix the bugs?
An update needs to fix what’s going on. Currently, the app on my iPad keeps crashing while in the MIDDLE of drawing and designing! I then have to go 5 paces back and do my work ALL OVER AGAIN. Do you know how annoying and frustrating that is? Then while I have stuff locked, it changes the fonts and sizing to where the locked/finished outcome is messed up, and there’s no fixing it, you have to delete it and start all over again. It’s honestly so f@@@cking stupid, after I’m done with this I won’t be using this app again. I have 50 different things I’m designing, and on every single one, this stupid app is crashing or messing up.

透過png画像を配置すると写真フォルダやファイルにはちゃんと透過保存できているものもイラストレーターで配置すると背景にモヤがかかったような画像で配置される。
他のソフトで透過保存したものがダメなのかとおもい、イラストレーター上で透過保存したものを作って行っても、透過された画像の背景にブレたような画像がはいりこむ。イラストレーターの操作上だけで起こっていることなのかとおもい、とりあえず保存もしてみたが変な背景がうつりこんだままの作品が保存されてしまう。

App closes and all work is lost after about a minute of doodling
I just installed illustrator for iPad yesterday. I’m running a 9th gen 64 gb iPad. I open the app, select the Pencil tool, change it to art, then charcoal (1,2,or 3), then I start doodling some trees with my stylus (Apple Pencil clone). After about a minute, the app just closes and I have to start over. I’m one day into the free trial, but I won’t pay for something that is unusable.

App crashing
App crashes within a minute or two of opening. iOS and app are up to date and I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it continues to crash shortly after opening it.
