still show the layers as white being blank when using dark theme interface
When using the light theme, if you look at the layer, blank space for the thumbnail of that layer is seen as white. However, if you use the dark theme interface, it somehow makes the blank space of the thumbnail layer block, which makes it very difficult to see what’s on that layer.
So, I’d really appreciate it if you could make it so that when I’m using the dark theme for the user interface, the blank space of a layer thumbnail is still white.

Did Adobe really made this? It feels like a knockoff app.
Illustrator iPad feels like one of those ‘free lite versions’ you can download before purchasing a full version.
Limited EVERYTHING, buggy, likes to quit on you half the time, and they charge you money for it.

An eyedropper like the desktop that samples swatches, can apply appearances
If you apply global swatches to your artwork on the iPad, you can't use the eyedropper to accurately sample those colors/swatches to other objects. The eyedropper reads the color, but the formula numbers are slightly off, and it applies this to the object, rather than applying the swatch. Also, when I create a swatch on the iPad using whole numbers, when I open the file on the desktop, the swatch has decimal numbers. You can't type in any decimals on the iPad, and yet they are there on the desktop. Designers need accurate swatch functionality and a better eyedropper on…

Pick color not working.
Color picker does not detect any color all of a sudden and it makes my shapes strokes transparent black or white.

Expand (convert to paths) mirrored artwork
Please add convert to path for mirrored drawings. After making sure the drawin is perfectly mirrored we don’t need the invisible part. For creators lile me that need to create a cutting outline for stickers it‘s really time consuming to outline mirrored drawings

Ability to select & place multiple assets at once
Please add an option to keep a particular CCLibrary open while working and/or the ability to select and place multiple assets in a document without having to go back, find the library & add items one at a time.

Need to have better exporting capability.
On the desktop version you can enter the specific resolution of the exported item on a keypad. This needs to be implemented on the iPad version. For both JPEG and PNG,

Rotate bounding box only
The bounding box is forever fixed now, and we can’t reset it, the way it is possible in the desktop (and there is a separate request for that: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/931888-illustrator-ipad-feature-requests/suggestions/42167054-reset-bounding-box).
But it would be better to make it better— by giving a mode to freely rotate the bounding box the way we need, to zero or another angle.
One more button in the context panel, or a toggle we can get when hold the rotation handle (to display the rotation center) — either way will do.3 votes -
Allow to expand strokes
Allow to expand strokes.

Select a stroke, open the Object panel and click Create stroke outline command. Be careful though — unlike the desktop's command, it leaves the original stroke-less path grouped with the generated outline.

Ability to use arrow keys for cursor placement within text.
When editing text, it’d be great to be able to use the arrow keys on the magic keyboard to move the cursor within text vs. having to use my fingers to drop the cursor.

Constrain proportions during resizing
The user shouldn't need to use "the bubble" in order to keep proportions of an object during resizing.
If I want to resize a circle, I shouldn't need to take additional step while resizing it in order for it not to turn into an oval.

Mirroring the font on an image and saving that font for later
So there are a ton of downloadable templates we can choose from and I can never find a perfect template… When I do find a design/format that I like, I can never find the matching theme that reciprocates the intentions I had for the search… So it would be extremely appreciated if we could simply sample the text off an image/template that we outline, and then allow us to save that type of writing… Once saved, I’d like to have the ability of simply deleting what the words that the template has and replacing it with mine…

Pouvoir exporter le pdf avec fond perdus et traits de coupe !
Lors de l’export en pdf il est impossible de mettre les fond perdus et traits de coupe en option comme dans la version desktop ! Vu qu’il n’y a pas encore indesign c’est très problématique pour travailler en autonomie avec l’iPad.

Customise toolbar
I use brush tool and pencil tool A LOT. Swap between them is a pain since they are both subtools under the same button. Having the ability to split them will make my life SO MUCH EASIER.

Keep width profiles and stroke settings
Allow option to keep width profiles and stroke settings constantly active when drawing. So annoying that it reverts back to basic every time I make a new stroke with pencil or pen tools! It makes it hard to draw!
