Reference Points for transformations.
Please can we have Reference Points in the Transform tool section like in desktop illustrator?
They offer much greater control and repeatability in comparison to black box tools like “Distribute”.

Attach nodes easily and lines control by clicks (touching the lines)
The nodes end should be easily snap together.
For now, I have trouble snapping the node ends.
It should be a click away. Click, drag and snap.
Then the line control. With powerful apple pen, it should be easy to edit or adjusting the lines, yes, other than nodes, playing around with the curve using pen should be easier than more options/popups and clicks.
Make the learning curve shorter a few clicks.

Export directly to Illustrator Desktop, like in the Draw app
I thought it would be a natural thing to include the export function to illustrator Desktop via Adobe Cloud, and it would be nice to import from the cloud too.

Randomized repeat
Add control to alter position of repeats with some controllable of random position shift for each repeated element, controls for x,y and or radius and rotation.

Precise Text Size and Spacing Slider
A more snappy unit for text size and line spacing adjustment slider.
It is difficult to get a precise clean number with the current slider.
For example when I wanted to change a text size from 30 to 40 with the slider, it always ended up with numbers such ash 40.73 or 40.28
A more snappier slider that only move to round numbers or .5 increments would be easier to use.5 votes -

Swatches and eye dropper tool
I would like to see an eye dropper tool and the swatches panel in Illustrator for iPad. The eye dropper tool would be useful for selecting colors in a photo and applying those colors to a shape. The swatches panel would be useful for selecting textures and previous colors that were used.

AI on iPad unstable! Constantly freezes
For a native app that Adobe said would make creative processes a workflow of efficiency...and indeed, free up greater creative, it does just the opposite and literally gets in the way of said processes. I keep hoping for an update that will stabilize the system.

I give up. Too much time wasted...my and others' woes, shouting into the the vacuum that is Adobe. I wish there was some way to be compensated for all this misplaced trust. And I wish Adobe all the woe it's created for it's loyal users - me? 30 years and counting. Worst…

Please support iPad Pencil rotation / Barrel Roll
Why isn't pen rotation enabled in Illustrator for iPad? The Apple Pencil Pro 2024 has the ability to detect pen angle, but Illustrator still doesn't detect pen rotation. For example, Procreate has this feature enabled.

Make Illustrator for iPad display Arabic text as connected letters
The Arabic text is supposed to be connected and not have separate letters. This issue is only in Illustrator iPad but not in other apps like Photoshop and Fresco. Please let me know how to fix it.

Do Not Change/Select Random Colors When Creating Gradients
When switching from a Solid color to a Gradient, the app will choose a (seemingly) random secondary color in order to visually show the gradient effect.
I would prefer that all points of the gradient maintain the singular ‘Solid’ color.
This is because I very often want to create a subtle gradient between a darker and lighter shade of the originally chosen color. More often than not, I need to copy the original color back into the new gradient point and then go from there - which can be frustrating because the app is making decisions for me that I…

Multi-Select multiple files to move, delete, duplicate, etc. all at once
I’d like the option to select as many files as I’d like on the Your Files page, so that I can move them all to a an existing folder, create a new folder and move them inside, duplicate or delete all files at once.

Being able to import Fresco iPad brushes to iPad illustrator and save them permanently to the illustrator brush library.
Fresco has a great set of brushes. It would improve Illustrator on the iPad immensely if they were interchangeable and could be added to the illustrator iPad brush menu permanently.

Make CC library (sub)folders and folder names visible
I work with various projects that each has separate collections, so I have my color swatches sorted accordingly into each collection folder in my CC Libraries for each project - which is great when I switch from Illustrator to Photoshop and other desktop programs. But on iPad version of Illustrator all swatches are in one huge messy mix of swatches without any kind of (sub)folders visible - I can´t believe that this basic functionality is still missing. Hope it will be improved very soon!

Finger Gesture Workflow
I just started my trial for illustrator on iPad, and Im already upset because of this touch modifier button. Why am I forced as a user to use this touch modifier button? Why can’t I just use a 1 finger or 2 fingers ANYWHERE on the ipad screen to do primary and secondary behaviors? I dont want to use this touch modifier. I instead want to use my fingers because its easier and faster.
