Make image trace logo source b&w by default
currently, Logo source automatically scans as color by default, even when source is black only. Please make default b&w instead.

ability to set repeat distance to specific value
It would be very helpful to be able to set the repeat distance (space between repeated objects) to a specific value or have the distance snap to the grid when snap to grid is active.

An eyedropper like the desktop that samples swatches, can apply appearances
If you apply global swatches to your artwork on the iPad, you can't use the eyedropper to accurately sample those colors/swatches to other objects. The eyedropper reads the color, but the formula numbers are slightly off, and it applies this to the object, rather than applying the swatch. Also, when I create a swatch on the iPad using whole numbers, when I open the file on the desktop, the swatch has decimal numbers. You can't type in any decimals on the iPad, and yet they are there on the desktop. Designers need accurate swatch functionality and a better eyedropper on…

Select all color swatches to delete at once.
Since I almost always want to delete the standard color swatches in a new document, it would be nice to be able to select all at once to delete, or at least multiples, instead of having to delete one at a time, very inefficient.

Ability to rotate objects exactly
I need to be able to rotate an image by very small increments. It’s possible to do this past 1.8 and 358.2 degrees, but the object always automatically snaps to 0 after/before that. I often need to rotate something by just a few points of a degree to the left or right. Please allow more nuanced rotation, by either adding the ability to rotate by a corner, or pressing a button to rotate something by smaller increments than 10 degrees, or by adding a way to numerically enter an amount, or by getting rid of the ability to snap around…

アピアランスをいじれるようにして頂きたい
デスクトップ版のようにアピアランスを細かくいじれるようにして頂ければ長くiPad版のIllustratorを使いたいと感じました。文字の上にしかアウトラインを追加できない点、パスの変形をより多くの機能を持たせる、デスクトップ版のIllustratorのような効果の追加、パスの追加、まとめて選択した場合縦横比を維持して変形できるようにするをお願いします。

Move the undo button from near split screen button
Move the undo and redo buttons when holding the iPad in portrait mode. Currently on the iPad mini (2021) the split screen 3 dots are overlapping the undo button. Which means I either have to turn my iPad to landscape or use the Apple Pencil and be very precise to click the left most part of the undo button in order for it to undo

'remember last stroke' and 'new art has basic appearance'
Adobe you really should and need to bring some of the finer settings across from the desktop if you are serious about these being PRODUCTIVE tools and not just permanent pre-release beta tests rented under the subscription narrative.
No-one wants to move BACKWARDS either feature OR PRODUCTIVE-wise.
Desktop Illustrator has a SIMPLE setting to either REMEMBER the last selected stroke setting OR allows for 'new art has basic appearance' which could easily be implemented on the ipad version with a check-box in a preference setting.
Without this simple setting my productivity is completely broken and now far more convoluted requiring…

Morph iPad Cursor
We need the cursor on iPad to morph into a more fine shape in some instances, like over anchor points, curve points, and even transform boxes. It’s currently difficult to precisely manipulate some objects with the oversized circle cursor. This would improve trackpad or mouse input greatly.

Colour Picker Gesture like in Procreate
Please make a Colour Picker Finger Gesture like in Procreate! At the moment its way too hard and fiddly to pick colours from the artboard.
- Press and hold down with your finger where you want to pull the color from.
- You'll see a circle take on your color.
- Wait for the color to appear in the color selection tool in the top-right corner of the screen.
- You now have access to the selected color.

Creating Fonts & Glyphs
Leveraging the Glyphs Engine, and allowing to clear and create new fonts, while using the grid to add new characters as glyphs(In a method similar to the "Export" drag N drop feature) and saving them/exporting as a ttc/ttf font file.

鉛筆ツールをデスクトップ版と同じ仕様で使えたら、すごく嬉しいです…！
鉛筆ツールで一度引いた線を描き直すときに、デスクトップ版だとその線を少しなぞって描き始めるか、線の近くで描き始めるかをすれば、元の線を変更させて描くことができますが、iPad版だとこれができず、新しい別の線になってしまうのが、僕にとってはとても惜しくて残念です…。
このために今はiPad版を使わず、デスクトップ版をMacのサイドカーでiPadに飛ばして、アップルペンシルで描いています。
iPadだけでできたら、生活スタイルを変えられるくらい便利になると思っていますので、どうぞよろしくお願い致します…！5 votes -

I often use this feature this Desktop version with ability to show and measure each path and line's length but they are no this panels in IPAD version so please add this in future

Save Confirmation
I have problem when i accidentally touch the back button, the canvas is automatically saved at the current progress, when we access the canvas again, changed progress we did before cannot be undo. My suggestion please make save confirmation, so we can cancel the back action when we accidentally press it, just like desktop version of AI. Thank you

moving vectors between illustrator ipad docs
i want a vector group from one of my illustrator on ipad docs to be brought to a different doc without having to redraw/remake the vector group. right now i can’t copy and paste from one doc to another. in the desktop illustrator you can drag vectors to different tabs/docs or copy and paste to different docs and i want to be able to have similar movement between documents on ipad.

I just got my first iPad and I’m loving Illustrator! However, I rely so much on Adobe Stock and my libraries for my work, and I really miss them on this platform. It would be great to access them here.
