Hi Egor,
If I could find such a script, it would speed up the process, but I'm not sure it would do exactly what I need. I already have a way to get some of the info via the document info panel, but part of my problem is a need to measure a part of a curved line, not the entire thing. I'm also not aware of scripts within AI that would allow me to measure a portion of a curved line. Do you recommend any specific one?

Eyedropper is now available in the color picker dialogue to help you select color from your artwork.
Please download the latest version of Illustrator (V29.2 and above) to experience the changes and let us know your feedback.

As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

Alas, this is the world today.

We have released the support for Pattern swatches in CC Library with our latest release - v29.3
You can select the swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has pattern applied and add that pattern to CC Library through Add Elements (+ button at the bottom) from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Pattern from the drop-down menu.
Update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

I have difficulty figuring out when I use my pencil to handwrite to type vs when a keyboard is required.

Hi Egor, I use the document info panel as a workaround now. I was just hoping there was some way to measure a curve without having to cut the shape apart first. (Similar to measuring with the measure tool). I'll check out the scripts you mentioned as well as the plugin. Thanks!
