Text subtracted form a shape looks incorrectly with GPU Preview rendering, top is clipped diagonally
Having issues with text and some compound paths acting like they are open paths when previewing with GPU. Viewing in CPU preview renders correctly.
We have had this issue on both 2017 iMacs and new Windows 10 machines.
Adobe Illustrator 25.2
Windows 10
Nvidia RTX 2070 Super (457.07 drivers)

commentedThough marked compatible, the AMD Radeon Vega II does not render Illustrator art work correctly. In this case a Compound Path (see what happens to the top of the letters B DIR), without GPU and with GPU. I am on MacOS Monery 12.6 / Ai 27.2

Greg Potter commented In the current version if Illustrator, 26 we have noticed a bug in GPU preview.
Tops of letters, or shapes appear to be clipped at an angle. This is not present in a PDF created from the same file and goes away when switching to CPU preview. Can be recreated with any file and also on Mac running current Illustrator version as well.
 Illustrator 26.3.1
 Windows 10
 Intel HD Graphics 530

commentedI work for a printing company, and we see this sort of glitch a lot. We also see it in the same design over multiple different systems so this must be an Illustrator issue rather than a compatibility problem with our graphics cards. When rendering with the GPU, fill colors will extend out past the shape bounds. When we switch to render with the CPU, the glitch disappears. See the example attached. This is a problem for us. We are losing production time because our printers on the floor see this and assume its an error with the artwork and flags it as such. System info:
 Windows 10 64bit
 CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
 GPU: NVIDIA Quadro P2000
 32GB RAM

commentedI get the same thing. I use this function A LOT and it's only just started doing it with the last 'upgrade' of AI. It is so annoying and I have seen a work around yet.

commentedWhen I use Pathfinder > Divide with a box and outlined text it causes my text to warp. Attached is a black box with red text before I use Pathfinder > Divide, the black box with white text is after.
