An error occurred while saving the comment Well, this is bad. Thanks for details, will check how it performs.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter, more information is needed.
Does it happen with all files you tried, or one only?
Did it behave alright with this file (if it's old) in the previous versions of Ai? What version do you use now?
If it occurs with one file only — can you share it here? It can help to investigate. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan, this is strange.
Please check Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, 'Hide Corner Widget for angles greater than' value — by default it’s 177°.
What does it have for you?
Does the situation change if you tweak it?
If it does not help. can you provide the test file and the screenshot of how it looks for you? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Did it work fine in the previous versions?
Have you tried to reset preferences (https://astutegraphics.com/support/tutorials-and-troubleshooting/resetting-illustrator-preferences)? — Yeah, I know, this feels like a dumb advice, but it works sometimes. -

An error occurred while saving the comment There are two ways to access this tool (which I use all the time):
1. Hold Alt while you have Direct Selection tool active — this will switch it temporarily to Group Selection. Most users I know use this method.
2. Go to Keyboard Shortcuts, Tools, and assign a hotkey. Double-A won’t do, Ai does not support this, but Shift+A is usually free. This is what I use :)
Does it solve it for you, Pete? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Craig, this is a common GPU rendering problem :(
I can confirm this also happens on my machine.
The workaround would be to switch to CPU mode in cases like this. Hopefully it will get fixed eventually.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment John, I don't get it.
You say you attach the EPS-file you created with Illustrator in email? What application do you mean? Do you use a specific emailing app or do you use web-based service?
You say 'Adobe says 'Cannot open'' — Adobe is a company, you obviously mean some Adobe app that says it... which one? Or do you mean this site stops you from uploading EPS-file here?
The EPS that you attached contains a raster image of some graph. Why EPS?
What do you try to do? So many questions :) Please explain more. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Mark, it’d be lucky if you were able to pinpoint the case where it happens reproducibly. If it does, can you package the document file with fonts you are using?

An error occurred while saving the comment Meanwhile, there is a script that may come in handy:
https://github.com/johnwun/js4ai/blob/master/textTweaker.jsAn error occurred while saving the comment Not exactly :)
Ai has a Touch Type tool. You can access it in the toolbox under as a Type Tool subtool, or directly from Character panel (if you set a n option in the panel’s menu). It allows to scale, shift and rotate live glyphs, without the need of outlining first.
It has some limitations though, and you can read about them and vote for the fix here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/43025820-touch-type-improvementsAs for a method that will do that for you automatically — well, it feels like a job for a script! Hope that this will get some attention from scripters.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tanuma-san, can you explain 'hard to press'? How is that hard? I checked and it works fine for me. Does it mean that it does not always work? Or is it hard to aim? Does it differ from the Top buttons?

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, something is definitely broke...
I can see the Save For Web option right there in File > Export menu. Yeah, it is called 'legacy', but nobody removed it specifically. I use 25.4.1 — do you have the same version?Nicola, can you share the file to sharewithai@adobe.com? Upload it somehwere and share a link if it’s too big.
Also, try to workaround this, if it’s crucial to export now — save as PDF or Ai with PDF-compatibility and then try to import it to Photoshop.
An I wonder why do you use EPS at all?
I wish I could help you more, but without the file it's not possible I am afraid. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Carlos, what version is this? Does it happen always, when you launch AI? When did it start happen?
As a workaround I can offer go to Preferences (Ctrl+K) and switch Start screen off — Genera l > Sheow The Home Screen When No Documents Are Open.I don't use it myself, because it is slow, blurred and laggy.
Does the latest released Beta work better for you?
