Oh, wow, wait, sorry! This one was about the iPad! What I offered work with the desktop Illustrator, and I am not sure if it works with the tablet. Again, sorry!

Jennifer, you can do it in 3 ways:

    1. Click first one and then hold Shift and click the last one — Ai will select all of swatches between these two. Don't try to include [None] and Registration ones, Ai won't allow to delete them.

    2. From the Swatches panel’s menu choose 'Select All Unused' command — it does what it says. You can also write this command into the action along with the deletion and run it whenever you want to clean up excessive garbage. I have it on a hotkey even.

    2. If you want a document to be clean in the first place, you can edit document profiles to not include any of the swathes (and also symbols, brushes, styles, etc.) you don't need. They'd be overwritten on a next update though, so you’d better to backup then.

Does it help? Please comment back.

Can't replicate. Need more details: what color mode is used for the document, what color mode is chosen for the Color panel, what does the swatch has as values when you edit this, etc.
A video or clear steps would be great.

There is a free Colorama extension by Tom Scharstein that https://github.com/Inventsable/colorama that allows to view and edit colors from a selection in somewhat similar manner — it does work only in RGB though and ignores swatches

The new Canvases were presented at MAX 2021 , that allow some sort of collaboration on a canvas. Some basic tasks can be done there.

As for the true Ai collaboration, you might want to try Invite to Edit, a big blue button in the top right corner of Ai window. Not yet simultaneous though, and for cloud documents only, obviously.

This is strange indeed, Meghan. Disabling GPU should have helped... it's either the file or the specific combination of appearances then... can you reproduce this bug in a new file, with the same exact fills and transparencies? Perhaps you will be able to share it instead of the original then.

Also — does disabling GPU helps?

Meghan, can you please provide your exact specs and share the relevant part of you design here (if you are allowed and willing to post it publicly), or via sharewithai@adobe.com (please then provide the link to this issue, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/45197365), for the team to study the issue.

Do you try to export a document in the large canvas mode (larger than 227in/577mm) or a normal one?

Ah, I see what is happening. Rectangles and ellipses have center points, which count as a part of a path. If they get marqueed, it makes the them fully selected. There is no way to disable this behaviour, and there is no way to not display centerpoints by default, but you can always disable them for already drawn shaped by pressing a special button in the Attributes panel.

Here is another case reported by a user.
Just open it, select the circle, go to the Appearance panel, double-click contents to access the only child of the group, and change the stroke. Once it's changed, the bounding box becomes larger than the actual bounds stays like this until the document is reloaded.

It turns out the problem is fixed only partially in 26.3.1, only for some users, and the performance remains slow when grid is rendered with lines or dots in Outline mode. This applies to zooming, panning and ghosting of objects being moved.

Please help the team by providing your specs and answers to these questions:

    1. Does it work fine with grid as dots in Preivew / Outline mode?

    2. Does it differ from grid as lines in these modes?

    3. What is slow for you exactly? How severe?

    4. Is there a difference if you disable 'Grids In Back' option?

    5. What are you lines/subdivisions settings?

And any other related feedback is appreciated. Let's track it down and get this really fixed.

    Windows 10, 26.3.1, Intel Core i7-4770, 3.4Ghz, 24GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 770

    1. No, having grids as dots makes it even slower, in both modes, EXTREMELY slow. Dots are almost invisible, and no subdivisions dots are rendered it all it seems. When dots are in front, they work fine, although are still almost invisible.

    2. Grid behave a bit better in Outline than it was in the previous version, but not as good as it was before.

    3. I literally can’t move, pan or zoom with dots. Preview mode works fine with lines.

    4. Ghosting, when a moved object is still displayed in its previous position, seems to be longer with grids in front.

    5. 10/10mm
