Make the option possible to toggle visibility guides and grids as needed by the user Now, the option to show them is greyed out.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to toggle them separately

    Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!

    Dear Illustrator Community,

I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.

While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.

    Our Approach

We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.

It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

    6 years guys ! 6 **** YEARS

    Well, you've lost a user here! I'm done !
Tired of these money makers without consideration in BASIC FUNCTION patching

You should be ashamed of yourself adobe

For the others, better call astute graphics if you ever want an actual solution to a problem

    or go Affinity designer

    see ya :!!!

Latest Beta Build 29.1.0.79 now allows to add gradient and pattern swatches into color groups. Simple as that. I am personally amazed it just works.

Please try it yourself in the latest Beta and see if it works for you as well. My congratulations, everybody. Vote more!

i'm not referring to ASE, just folder structure here

For ASE gradient swatch management in illustrator have a look here

on the window “export for screen” Windows There is a format section where you can input different sizes to export your artboards to.

but since the last update it seems to reset itself every time I open and close illustrator on my computer. so I always come back to the “x1” preset

it is very annoying because I'm used to render many different formats at the same time with very specific sizes and I tend to forget that I have to input them every time I fire up my computer

    Eg :
    1 at 300 PPI
    1 at x2
    Etc
    to fix this please ?
