    The team has encountered several issues with this feature. It requires them to change the basic algorithms and it is going to take them more time than anticipated.

    While it still works in Beta 28.8.0.7, the next Beta build will have Inside/Outside aligned strokes for open paths disabled. The Beta is scheduled to be live on 7th of August.

    Once this is ready to be enabled back, the team will update the status.

    Align Stroke to one side of open path is now disabled in Beta. Some of the issues require change the basic algorithms and would take more time than anticipated. We will update everyone once we are ready to enable this again

    It seems like this problem happens only for Mac Sonoma users...

    Downgrading to a previous version of MacOS seems to be a viable workaround at the moment.

    This is not a proposed solution though.

    Hi All,

    It seems this issue is no longer happening on Mac Sonoma 14.4. Kindly let us know if this is still happening for you with the latest Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.

    This issue is fixed in Photoshop releases v25.7
