We were able to ship support for Art and Calligraphic Brushes in our 2.0 release. But there is more to be done for Import / Export of (atleast) these Brush types. We’re keeping this thread open for your feedback. Thank you!

An error occurred while saving the comment I don’t know why more importance hasn’t been given to this request. It’s important to be able to save patterns and gradient fills to Libraries, in addition to saving to your local computer. We need this.

Just a general status update. We are currently and will continuously improve SVG import support in Adobe Illustrator. We are currently working on solving the issues mentioned in this report. Please feel free to open new bug reports here on uservoice if you are experiencing additional/untracked issues.

An error occurred while saving the comment I think this is pretty essential for most designers and since it’s thought that 3D and materials is being brought into Illustrator (still not sure about the performance of all that) looks forward to being able to put materials onto fill, strokes, etc.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment I am still having this problem with 25.4.1. Disabling Transform Tools in Smart Guides preferences helps resolve the problem, but checking it continues to disallow moving the point or points when shift-dragging.

An error occurred while saving the comment Agree, this is very important. Designers must be able to shift constrain a point or points to drag them at straight/perpendicular angles. Point(s) either do no move at all, or are not constrained - this has stopped working.
