An error occurred while saving the comment MyKill commented+1000 - YES. Honestly, I hated "zoom to selection" at first, especially when it replaced the CMD+ shortcut. It killed workflow. Recently I found a great use for 'ZTS' but must constantly open Preferences and turn it on/off to get the traditional behavior back. PLEASE make ZTS its OWN command with Keyboard Shortcut.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.
Please refer to our knowledge base FAQ – https://illustrator.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1844590 if you face difficulty in update.
Or get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.htmlWarm Regards,

Adobe. Make It an Experience. An error occurred while saving the comment MyKill commented"I spoke with a tech that informed me that the DCS filetype is being phased out."
Ok, Phased out of ILLUSTRATOR or phased out of the INDUSTRY?Adobe, I love you, but you have GOT to keep screen printers in mind. You made life **** when Photoshop CS3/4(?) removed the screen angle output. Whatever YOU think we SHOULD be doing, the FACT is that these DCS files are used EVERY DAY by thousands of screen printers, so I'm not sure WHO told you they are being "phased out"... they are absolutely ESSENTIAL to me and lots of other people to pay our rent and buy food.
I know Adobe is in love with the web and digital formats, but I'm betting most of your employees are wearing shirts, and most of them have a design on them... WE MAKE THOSE, and you are making this REALLY difficult for no reason.
While we're at it, can we PLEASE get back to old Preview display? Meaning where it, by default, supported Solidity (Illustrator CS 4 or 5 was when it was dropped). Since that version, I have to select every channel (CMD+Click on the channel thumbnail) and then delete that from the "shirt color" channel so that I can see the design in AI. I shouldn't even need the "shirt color" channel, but MUST keep it an cut all channels from it to see the art in a clear view in AI.
PLEASE... PLEASE ADOBE... I hate Corel and you fit into all my other workflows so effortlessly.. PLEASE keep the screen printers in mind when you start "phasing out" things that already work perfectly... We're not asking you to ADD functionality, we're simply asking you to STOP REMOVING functionality that you think is outdated or not needed?
Do YOU print full-color photographic images onto t-shirts, Adobe? I do. PLEASE stop making it so f*****g difficult.

An error occurred while saving the comment MyKill commentedThis has been a problem since CC2017 and is still not fixed in CC2018... When trying to work with selected text, in every version of Illustrator prior to CC2017, "Hide Edges " (CMD+H) would also hide the "selection box" or whatever you call the highlighting of text. In CC2017, it stays highlighted UNLESS you UN-check GPU Performance.
It's a real pain when you are trying to change the text color of a single word or character because you can not see the result since the highlight color is still shown and shows a different color than what you have selected.
I don't see why I can't have GPU Performance ON while trying to edit selected text color... I posted about this in November of 2016 (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2244423) as well as filed a bug report.
PLEASE fix this.

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

yeah, I know about the CMD+H thing. It's on another Adobe forum post somewhere, but I made the statement "I'd really like to keep GPU Performance ON while doing this". It's just a pain to go into Prefs to toggle it when trying to work. But, at least there is a workaround for now. But, this has been a problem for YEARS now... YEARS... thats absurd.
