   Hi,

   If you want to switch the older control panel you can do that in 2 ways:
   1. Go to Window > Control and the control panel will be shown.
   2. Go to Workspaces and switch to Essential Classic, this will also show the Control panel on the top.

   The most recent version finally has the Object > Distribute menu added.

   Now both Align and Distribute commands can be accessed via menu and have assigned keyboards shortcuts to them.

   
   

   The order of the commands though seemingly matches the one the panel has: horizontal first for Align and vertical first for Distribute.     Live preview of color is now live in Illustrator 27.1.1, for Color Picker dialog, Color panel, Properties and Control panel, and Appearance panel.

    Hi Everyone,

    This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1. 

    
    

    The new functionality allows searching layers by name using the searchbar in the layers panel. The users can also apply filters based on layer properties (locked, hidden etc) or objects properties (effects, text etc.). This will help to quickly find layers/objects for large documents (having multiple layers).
