An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedAll day long when changing global swatch definition values I have to slam my keyboard for random value, otherwise there will be conflict and often I have to start all over again.
An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedEgor:
"So I'd like to have this as a sticky checkmark that
A) will remember if a user wants auto-naming
B) will auto-name a a swatch when ticked
Or maybe a separate 'Auto-name' button and a separate checkmark better."Similar checkmark as Layer menu has for "Paste remember layers" would be nice.
An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedExample of optimum Illustrator workflow with global swatches.
Button smashing to get unique name fast, when opening global swatch first time.An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedIf folder name already exist in windows it put (2) in the end. It was invented at least 30 years ago. You can do it too.
An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedI need ability to turn off auto renaming swatches permanently.
Changing swatch color definition or just previewing the swatch color change prompts an error about there being such name in use already. That often means even if I change the swatch name to something unique (smushing my hand on keyboard) it does not change the color value, and I have to start all over again. It hinder global swatch workflow tremendously. An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedEgor, don't make copy of same swatch.
Lets say you have two different global swatches that have names from their values. When you change one swatch values same as other then you get instant conflict.Mait shared this idea · -

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedHow should people work with illustrator when doing linework for vector illustration. It should be one click and on tabled I can make few quick strokes with the eraser tool.
But now I have to cut maybe 20 times and select lise segments 10 times and click delete for each. How this is not major issue? An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedIt is completely obvious that eraser tool should not simplify line. Is AI really designed this way that this is unsurmountable problem to solve.

An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedIt is about time to fix transform each command.
I have multiple layers divided to sublayers and 20 sublayers in total. Illustrator does not know how to scale all these objects separately and it is ridiculous. I have to scale them manually each sublayer twice. 40 times transform each. OMG!An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedIt has always worked that way, atleast since cs5. Probably everbody hates it, but they don't bother changing it. So wierd.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.
Please refer to our knowledge base FAQ – https://illustrator.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1844590 if you face difficulty in update.
Or get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.htmlWarm Regards,

Adobe. Make It an Experience. An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedOnly reason I use Illustrator CC 2018 at the moment, is because 2017 started using 100% cpu. I would have gone back to even older version (newest version of illustrator have had problems in past).
An error occurred while saving the comment Mait commentedIf I install latest build for version 23.0 to fix the issue "Move/Copy Artwork with artboard" in 22.1. And lets say other coworkers still use 22.1. Will the .ai file be compatible between different versions without any issues?
I am still only one using global swatches to ease workflow?
When changing global swatch and color value matches existing color, It shows error window that I have to close twice. And then when i got to change swatch name or try to close swatch changing window I gate same conflict message once more.
How is that reasonable?
