Thanks for reporting this issue, Illustrator Team really appreciate this.
We are unable to reproduce this issue in house. We need your help in getting this issue reproducible.
Kindly provide some video and Test file(Via File→Package) with some steps with which you are facing issue and share with us in a zip file at sharewithai@adobe.com. Please mention the title of this issue as the subject of the mail.
Please Also let us know if you have been using any 3rd Party plugin while facing this problem.Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we might need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
If yes, then please do let me know about your available time so that I can schedule a connect session accordingly.

This certainly is not a normal behaviour of Illustrator.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedAlso got a new keyboard because i thought copy and past was going out on my previous one. but it looks to be an issue with illustrator now. Im having to hit ctrl+c multiple times over to get it to actually copy things...

The issues seems to happen again in 28.0 and 28.1
The team is now aware of the bug.
Still — please comment and upvote to help the team to get statistics on the magnitude of the problem.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedi have contacted adobe multiple time about this an all they do is waste time look at you computer to and are like ok its fixed it should never happen again for it to happen 5mins after you get off the chat with them.
CC is so full of bugs that will never get fix because "this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce on our end"... which they say for every issue and to never have a fix yet there are so many trends and post about these issues
It is unacceptable to be the leading software in the industry and never fix a **** thing while we now have to pay monthly for a product full of bugs.
pro tip : make sure your product works before you release it...
this is still a ******* issue Adobe..
