Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

im the only one left in my company using illustrator and photo shop. all others have left do to the platforms stability. yes we have now asked for this for years and you reply saying it will now be off by default and there was never any change. i feel like adobe Devs do not care about there real clients.An error occurred while saving the comment i would like to see the full backlog
i keep saying stop feature additions and get the program stable fix bugs -

An error occurred while saving the comment has a temp work around is to switch to outline mode select than switch back. hot keys are Ctrl+Y or Cmd+Y

An error occurred while saving the comment Have in the menu 'don't scale font' or and font appearance. This way if I change the size of the menu I still have control over the font in the font appearance options.

In case you missed it, latest Ai versions now do have Cut, Copy, Paste (all subcommands) in the context menus.

Hi Everyone, This feature was shipped in Illustrator 2020 version. Please go to Preferences>Selection & Anchor Display > and check ‘Select and unlock objects on canvas’. Enabling this preference will display a lock icon when you select the locked object.

there should be an option to convert them at least once. and let you know they were converted but there would be not option to go back to pantone's full catalog.
i understand the limits but it was up to adobe to provide a transmission.
UPDATE: its adobe's fault .... now $5k + in equipment now no longer usable with any adobe software. but corel and afinity are all ok.
