  1. Possibility to open AI and PDF files in AI

    I am working on color files for shoes using Illustrator in multi-page. It would be great if I wouldn't have to share the files.
    But we are several people using the files, with different versions of AI, or for some of us only Acrobat.
    So what happens very often and drives me crazy is that I can't open files (incl my own) in multi page, and even if I can open page by page (and waste a lot of time putting them back together) it is with a lot of clipping masks created by the app and which make it…

  2. Sort out functionality of library assets

    Seems a lot of people are struggling with Library assets for various reasons. I think this feature is massively under developed for what should be a great strength across Adobe applications. I still have Illustrator V17 in use as the Library works better than the current version for me, so my subscription is wasted money. I've complained before but to no avail. I create many line drawings with common line segments, so I drag these in from the Library, which creates consistency and should be time saving.   3. Batch import of .ase files directly to the swatches palette

    For example, if I have a dozen .ase files from different colleges, opening them one by one and adding them to my swatches takes time. I'd rather put them into a folder and have Illustrator import them all. Having them import as Color Groups should be kept.
    I'd like to be able to do this.
    Swatches > Open Swatch Library > Other Library > [folder name]
    Every .ase file in that folder should open up/be imported in my swatches palette. Bam! I'm done!

  4. Save PDF and rasterize one layer

    It will be great if we can choose some layers to be auto rasterized when exporting to pdf. I keep very complex paterns in a different layer and always need to manually rasterize it to get a light pdf and error free on Rip software.

  5. The new behavior of art being clipped when it goes over the artboard bounding edge an option to turn on or off in preferences

    The clipped art over an artboard edge should be an option to turn on and off. Some users do not want this behavior all the time and if it were a preference, the user can control when it should get clipped.

  6. Please provide an option to disable the brush size preview circle

    Please provide an option to disable the brush size preview circle (the little circle that appears under your cursor whether you are using the mini paintbrush or the precise (crosshairs) cursor.

    I want to use illustrator for screen casting, and while most screen capture software can hide the cursor, they do not recognize the little circle as part of the cursor so it shows up in videos when you'd rather just have drawings appear.

  8. CreativeCloud history backup for lost files.

    What if we have a Cloud history for any step we make in Adobe products to backup if we lost the file or don't save in accident? like Time Machine. I want to revive lost updates that I didn't save.

  10. Custom background color for tool windows

    Currently working with dual monitors, one monitor has most of my tool windows.
    If I am using one window of tools most of the time, it would be nice to set the base color to orange so I can spot it easier. Or even group windows that are similar to say green, and rarely used windows would remain grey.

  11. Adobe Draw Mode in Adobe Illustrator

    1. Description
      Insert "Adobe Draw Mode" into Adobe Illustrator.
      Bring into the Illustrator the same results and functions that the application of the Ipad has, such as presets of pressures and brushes that most of the time the result is ideal.

    2. Why is this valuable to you?
      Because this will make vector illustrations with rewarding and much faster results.
      To solve problems of paths with thicknesses and pressures as we need.

  12. 矢印ツールとは別に「移動モード」を。

    オブジェクト選択後、特定のキーを押すことで「移動モード」に移行するようにしてほしい。

    複数のオブジェクトを選択し、それらを同時に移動させようとした場合、任意のオブジェクトを全て選択した後、最後にいずれかのオブジェクトを正確にクリックしてドラッグする流れになるが、この最後にいずれかのオブジェクトを選択する際に誤ってオブジェクト以外をクリックしてしまうと、今までのShiftを押しながら沢山選択してきた作業が水の泡になる。

    移動モードに移行すると、選択したオブジェクト以外を選択しても選択が解除されることはなく、心ゆくまで正確に移動を行った後、決定ボタンなりダブルクリックなりで移動モードは解除される。

    現在の編集モードの選択したオブジェクト限定版という動きにしても良いかもしれない。

    選択したオブジェクトの精密な移動方法としてこの「移動モード」の実装を強く要望します。

  13. Keyboard command for "Find and Replace" Text or ability to add a Keyboard Shortcut.

    In Adobe Illustrator: Why is there not a keyboard command to bring up the "Find and Replace" dialog box or the ability to add your own Keyboard Shortcut to do this?

  14. It would be helpful if you made allowable suggestions, such as, " paint in clipping paths not allowed, convert to paint group now."<

    If you're not going to make your paint feature natural or useful, then you could provide allowable suggestions. Suggestions such as, " Paint in clipping paths not allowed, convert to paint group now," then you would click yes or no to convert. Instead, you have created an information loop Where your customers have a problem, you acknowledge the problem, and send your customers on their way to find their own solutions to solve that problem. A problem you have created in the first place. This would be a very helpful feature for you to add.

  15. Dotted lines

    Could not find a good way to reach a simple final goal, also asked to support with little results: would be nice to draw dotted lines with brush tool.

    Just simple ones as I can do in Photoshop, I'd love to do that in Illustrator too.

    Sounds weird it is not already doable!

  16. Gradient annotator as a palette and snap to gradient points

    Allows you to then retain the annotator when dragging guides or other objects, and using other tools. Could work in a similar way to the Tabs palette.

    Also it would be really useful if you could snap objects or guides to the gradient points on the sliders.

  17. Allow snapping to objects that are masked out and also make opacity mask objects visible in outline mode

    For example, if you draw a large box and place it completely inside a small box so that all four corners of the larger box are masked out, then try to drag a guide it will only snap to the smaller clipping mask, the guides wont snap to the larger box unless you hide or release the clipping mask. Also, as an additional feature I think it would be of benefit if when inside the opacity mask, when you go to outline mode you could then see the objects within the mask.

  18. Possibility of recording "key object" by action

    It would be great to have possibility to record in action "key objects", because it's very hard to do an alignment between objects by actions without this one especially if you want align to the edge of objects.

  19. Play actions in Button mode

    If it would be possible to add a shortcut, or a way, to press "Play" button in action tab, from button mode.
    Having multiple actions is easier to handle in button mode, but it is unable to use more complicated actions for example with stops, because there is no play, and way to adjust shortcut for it, so you need to be in standard mode.

  20. Export just one artboard in 1-2 clicks

    I want to be able to QUICKLY select an artboard as PNG, or JPG and export with 1-2 clicks. Ideally one click. Not the current 10-30 clicks
