  1. Stop the over Writing of SVG vs Illistrator File saves

    I work with a laser cutter which uses SVG files. Whenever I SaveAs "svg" the file/program I'm working on now turns into said svg save.

    Id like it to stay as it's Illustrator file self so once I'm done making edits I can just save as normal. Currently when ever I save as an SVG I have to go Save As again and overwrite/replace the Illustrator file I'm working on. I've ran into issues before where if I do this too many times it sort of corrupts the ability to save as a SVGs.

  3. Modifier key on apple pencil

  10. Offset path feature won't become a sharp

    Why if I have a curve that has several very small (sharp) angles, when I enter it in the offset path feature (+ offset), then the offset result can't be sharp anyway. but if (-) is offset, then can it turn sharp?

  12. Effects ( fx ) drag and drop

    Just like in Abode Indesign, when you apply an effect to type or object all you have to do is drag & drop the "fx" icon in the appearance bar to the type or object you wish to apply that effect to.

    Adding this same feature will increase productivity when adding multiple effects and create a more cohesive work from program to program.

  16. your default workspace is completely off point of the tools illustrators need close at hand

    hey, folks, I've been using Illustrator continuously (and intensely) since 1987. Every time I make a transition to a new Mac and load a fresh copy of the Creative Suite, I'm frustrated by the task of rebuilding the essential palette of tools that need to be close at hand in Illy for max productivity — color, stroke, character, align + pathfinder, layers . . . your out-of-the-box defaults have it all wrong. Makes me wonder: do any of you people actually use this product for making stuff in the day to day? And good god, please stop with the scrubby…

  18. Allow scroll to zoom in the navigation area

    I have zoom to scroll turned on in the settings but we can't zoom to scroll in the navigation area just the main window. Can you please fix this? Allowing people to choose which way they scroll to zoom in or out would also be nice for accessibility.
