Illustrator 2022 DOES NOT OPEN.
This new Illustrator update DOES NOT WORK. Just installed the new 2022 update yesterday 11/01, and it worked for half the day, and in the second half, the app refused to open. Tried again this morning 11/02, and there was a small update to Illustrator, so in hopes of fixing the issue from yesterday, I installed the update, and guess what, still broken. I reinstalled the past version of Illustrator, and that doesn't work now either. I'm not telling you how to do your job Adobe, but for me to do my job, I need Illustrator to work. If you…
2 votesThis is embarrassing and incredibly sad to hear. I can’t imagine to be cut off a my main tool when I need it.
I guess the only option you can try is to clean all the traces of previous versions installed with the Cleaner Tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html), install 2021 version and hope it work.
So sorry it happened, and I wish I could do more.

O Adobe Illustrator está Travando e Fechando sozinho
O meu adobe Ilustrator, esta com erro de travamento. principalmente quando vai salvar um arquivo., le trava e fecha. Já não sei mais o que fazer. Esse problema começou depois da atualiazação.

If I have an illustrator file open, and then open a second, I can't view the 2nd file even if it's the one selected
I am having a consistent issue that any time I open a second file in illustrator, the view is always on the first file, even if I have the 2nd file selected. I have not found a way to resolve this so I can't copy and paste between files!

No snap to artboard
Snap to artboard not working with smart guides on (or with any other form of snap on) tried on both existing and new files - no snap no feedback of cursor - using drawing tools pen or rectangle.

Illustrator crashes in Windows 10 after closing Illustrator version 23.03. Please have your developers check this error. I am including a screenshot of the error everytime that Illustrator is closed.

Tool Options Palettes Absent On Launch
The tool options palettes (those you select from the Window menu) are occasionally absent on launch. Not every time. Not even most times. It seems to occur in waves; sometimes more frequent, sometimes less frequent. Lately, it's been a near daily occurrence.
Choosing the palettes in the Window menu when this happens does nothing.
I have the palettes grouped in a single column, but it seems to make no difference whether they're grouped or spread out. Likewise it makes no difference if they're on my primary or secondary monitor.
Currently installed version: 23.0.3

saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator
Illustrator 23.0.2 (64bit) and Windows 10 Versions 1809 OS Build 17763.379
This has happened numerous times over the past few months.
I try to create a new custom Adobe Color Theme in Illustrator. I am not able to do so and am given the error message:
"saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator"
I have tried restarting the program and signing out and signing back into my Adobe Creative Cloud but the problem remains.

Selecting pen lines (vectors) & anchor points is really hard after updating to newest version of CC 2019.
I recently updated my OS to Sierra & with that my CC updated to 2019 23.0.2. Ever since, it takes several tries to select a line or an anchor point using the direct select or group select tool & to remove points using the Add/delete anchor tools. The scissors tool also can't seem to find the line to create a point either. It is extremely frustrating & slows down drawing a lot! It seems like the lines/points that we are looking at, are not in the same place code-wise maybe? Something is not lining up. PLEASE fix quickly!

Multiple crashes daily
The current version of Illustrator is absolutely useless. Does Adobe bother testing their own product for bugs? I experience multiple crashes daily at my job, when all I have open is one file. Something as simple as deleting a square will crash the program. It's infuriating.

Unable to select text once it's been horizontally scaled (condensed)
Illustrator CC 23.0.2 (Mojave Mac Pro)
If I horizontally scale a text element on the artboard I'm then unable to select it with any of the arrow selection tools. Elements aren't locked or masked.

Blue horizontal lines
Is this normal? My imac is 3 days old and these blue horizontal lines show up in illustrator cc.

Illustrator underperforming on Mojave
Since updating to Mojave, Illustrator is sluggish at best. Moving a page activates the spinning wheel every time before moving the page. Almost unusable for work.
I am using the latest version of CS suite, Illustrator and Mojave.

Colours Suddenly change and go lighter
Running latest Creative Cloud on El Capitan, 10.11.5.
When working on a file, all of my colors suddenly get lighter, almost like I'm working within a group. When I look at the swatch color values they have the same hex as a previous doc, but don't display the same.
As a quick test, I exported the corrupt version as a jpeg and rectified the colour in photoshop by altering the levels.
At the time of the switch I was working with the rotate and extrude tool.

Eyedropper applies a white or transparent fill aspect on object
Eydropper tool applies a transparent or white aspect to my object. Yet my options are well set and there is no style on my source object.

Smart Guides - Center point not usable
When Smart Guides are enabled, the Center point of an object is shown, when hovered over the edges of the object, but it disappears (and doesn't snap) when trying to hover over the Center point itself.

Command-s save reverts back a few steps
Sometimes saving the document (command-s) causes it to revert a few steps back. WHAT? What is going on with all this weirdness!

Artwork won't display on artboard, but in the layers panel, navigator etc.

When an additional file is opened it sometimes shows the content of a previously opened file on the artboard.
In the layers panel or the navigator the correct content is displayed.
Also upon undocking the tab the correct content is displayed.
