1. Swatches disappear in Swatches panel when switching between documents

   I've got two documents open. An RGB one, and a CMYK one. When I CMD+TAB between the two, all the current swatches disappear. I have to click on a different 'view swatches' button to make them appear. This happens EVERY TIME. I just updated to the latest version of Illustrator thinking it would fix it, but it doesn't.

2. Using Color Mixer in Control panel for stroke changes the color of the fill instead

   I encountered this problem as seen in the GIF.
   Selecting a stroke or fill from the control bar menu changes the active appearance. When using sliders, it doesn't. i have tested on different Windows 11 machines and different documents. Replicated the issue every time.

3. Recent colors become None when Global or Spot Colors are used

   Some Recent Colors are displayed as the None Swatch when Spot or Global colors have been added to the Recent Colors.
   Turn on in the Edit > Color Settings all checkboxes for warnings about Mismatches or Missing profiles.
   The default is unchecked. When they are unchecked, you will get no warning when opening a file with Global (or Spot) Colors in the Recent Colors and the file just opens without showing the problem.
   When you have turned the warning checkboxes On in the Color Settings and have Quit Illustrator after adding the Global or Spot Colors in the Recent Colors, you get a warning about a Missing Profile (which is not true) when you create or open a file while the Global (or Spot) Colors are still in the Recent Colors (they are available across documents). If you click OK the file opens, just as it would with the warnings off. The warning will not show again during the current session. But if you click Cancel (as many times as the number of Global/Spot Colors that you have in your Recent Colors). The file will open with the recent Global/Spot Colors converted to None.

4. Recent Colors is adding the [None] swatch as K=0 and apply white

   When fill is focused, setting [None] adds the white (K=0) chip into Recent Colors sections.
   Doesn’t happen for strokes.

5. Alt/Opt clicking into the spectrum bar in Color panel now changes both fill and stroke on release

   When I hold Alt/Opt and drag the cursor over the spectrum bar, I am able to change the color of the inactive attribute — in this case stroke, since fill is activated. However, as soon as the mouse button is released, the fill gets changed to the picked color too! This was not the case in the the previous version.

7. Saving to Creative Cloud is Changing My Patterns

   This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.
   Attached is a picture of 2 circles on a background (shield your eyes, it isn't pretty :-)). When I make the pattern - in this case, the circles were drawn with the blob brush - the inside of the 2 circles is empty and we can all see the background. It's a ring. When I pull that pattern out of swatches, however, it will color in that background. In this one, it's black. It changes depending on the pattern and the colors I'm using. And it is not consistent. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it happens to just some motifs in a design and not others.
   After countless tries to figure out what it is, it does appear to be that patterns saved to Adobe's Creative Cloud will have this happen, whereas if I save it to my computer, it will not. Thank you for the help!

8. 色違いで作ったパターンがコピペされない

   MacOS Catalina 10.15.7　Illustrator 2021（25.3.1）

   同じ模様のパターンの色違い３つ作成（ABCとする）→
   ABCに塗ったオブジェクトをコピー→
   別ファイルにペースト→
   オブジェクトすべてがAの塗りになり、BCのパターンはペーストされない

   コピペされないBCを別のオブジェクトに塗り
   再度コピペしても、勝手にAの塗りに変換されます。
   同ファイル内でコピペしても同じ現象がおきます。

9. Color discripancy between "View on CPU" and "View on GPU" on a Mac with M1 chip

   I'm now running AI on a macbook pro with M1 chip.
   I noticed that when I switching "View on CPU" to "GPU", all colors became whiter and inaccurate (images inserted in AI became much whiter than the objects created and colored in AI).
   I've checked my older Macbook pro with intel CPU and AMD graphic card, the colors keep the same and accurate when I switch from CPU to GPU.

10. Tilde key to move a pattern within shape not working

    My Tilde/Graves accent key is no longer working to transform a pattern within an object. Normally, I can rotate or move around a pattern when I hold it down without moving the object. It hasn't worked since my last update.

11. Applying stroke for a non-grouped marqueed set of shapes removes fill from those objects (v25.3.1)

    Just as the title says, selecting a set of non-grouped objects and applying a stroke that selection causes all of the fills in those shapes to be removed.

12. Bug of saving in the background of Illustrator 2020

    If you save a document that uses a 2-byte spot color name in ai format, place this file in InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
    It will be replaced by "Global color". And even if you export the PDF, it will be reflected. Turning off saving in the background can work around this, but this is an issue that should be resolved as soon as possible.

    カラー設定が勝手に変更されます。オリジナルに設定したカラープロファイルを常に使用しているのですが、こちらが何もしていないのに「Adobe Illustration 5.5をエミュレート」に勝手に変更されます。以前のヴァージョンではこのようなことはなかったので、改善していただきたいです。

    こちらのカラー設定の不具合は、Photoshop を最新バージョン「ver.22.3.1」にアップデートすることで修正されます。
    お手数ですが、Photoshop を「ver.22.3.1」にアップデートをお願いします。
    それでも問題が解決しない場合は、Bridge の設定をリセットしてください。

    In the new Recolor artwork 2021 panel the info button in the lower left jumps to a link that is not working currently. It was working for me before, but in the past few days it's failed:

15. A bug compounded with rotated line gradients, arrows, and appearances

    There are some conditions for reproduction.

    ・ Line with arrow
    ・ Set gradation to line color
    Two or more lines created by the appearance

    It is good to change the line width or move by "deformation" to check the change of the overlapped line.

    Rotate the object.
    Then click on the eye icon in the appearance panel to show or hide each line. The direction of the gradation of the line not touching should change one after another.

    I have confirmed this phenomenon in all versions from CS6 to 2020.
    A similar phenomenon was obtained with the vertical axis reflect. In my tests it didn't happen with horizontal reflect.

16. Cannot see gradient annotator when several objects are selected

    Hi, in the latest version of Illustrator (2020), I can't see the gradient annotator when I select several objects at the same time. With a single object selected the annotator looks correctly, but when selecting two or more objects it is no longer displayed.
    In previous versions, the gradient annotator is shown when selecting several objects, which I find very useful for copying the properties of the gradient from one object to another.

17. White is now yellow

    All my colors with todays 10/16/18 update have shifted and have lost their embedded color file. (When opening previous work). My white swatch is yellow. But when placed in Indesign it is white as well well as the color makeup 0000. Hiw can i fix this?

18. Eyedropper doesn't work on groups

    When I select a group and I try to use the eyedropper tool, this seems to not work.
    In the fill box in the toolbar it appears as the colour already changed, but the group still looks with the original colour.
    If I ungroup the group, or if I unite the group with the pathfinder (plus cmd+8), then the eyedropper works regularly, but this is not the ideal way to work. I already contacted the support online, but the issue hasn't been sorted out properly.

    I use MacOS High Sierra — Version 10.13.6

    The fix has been rolled out and is available in our latest release build – 29.3.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Now groups get the applied appearance positioned above the Contents in the Appearance panel.

19. Gradient stays selected when trying to pick a solid colour

    After upgrading to v23, it's become very difficult to switch from having a gradient selected and to having a solid colour.

20. Non Functional Gradient stop bug in 'Color' panel

    When adjusting a colour stop its colour is visible in the 'Color' panel's 'Fill' field. You used to be able to cancel the stop colour by clicking on this 'Fill' field to go back to the gradient fill and to get the 'Stroke' colour back in sight.
    This is no longer the case. In spite of Illustrator flashing the tool tip 'Click to cancel' clicking does not work at all. The fill colour is stuck on the 'Colour Stop's colour.
    Now you can only see the 'Stroke' field in the 'Gradient' panel and the 'Tools' panel. This is a pain since it forces me to go back to one of those panels. In the screenshot I have both panels open so you can see it. SInce I normally don't have both open next to one another because I need the space this is a pain. I now resort to quickly creating a new colour stop and immediately removing it, this tricks the stroke field to come back. But please fix this.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
