Customize my own workspace
I would like to edit my workspace. I would rather have the columns with symbols both on one side, instead of on each side.

Fix the text feature
Excited about illustrator finally coming to the iPad but as with anything new, it must be improved. The text feature is great. My problem is that once I type on a path, the text won’t snap to degrees, so I don’t know if my logo/art is symmetrical. I know you all usually fix bugs in a timely manner. Thanks

Make it possible to open files from OneDrive and the Shared folders.
Or any type of way to communicate with Files In Sharepoint.Thanks.

Fix shape builder tool
Shape builder is not working like how it does on desktop. It won’t allow me to create a shape from two overlapped shapes. It only erases the shape that I touch.

Disable touch input or apple pencil and gesture input only
I’ve problem when panning the canvas accidentaly move an object or artboard so one thing to solve this is to disable touch input for moving or select an object when using apple pencil

Illustrator on iPad seems to be dead
It’s been ages since the last update which like the few recent ones was only minor bug fixes. No new features are added and the feature parity in non-existent. I’m afraid Illustrator on iPad is on maintenance mode…

Scale Corners when resizing shapes, as you can on desktop
An option to Scale Corners, Like ‘Scale Strokes and Effects’. You can do this on desktop but seemingly not the iPad

Keep width profiles and stroke settings
Allow option to keep width profiles and stroke settings constantly active when drawing. So annoying that it reverts back to basic every time I make a new stroke with pencil or pen tools! It makes it hard to draw!

Need to add the Area Type Tool
I’d love to have the area type tool and other type functions from the desktop version added to the iPads version. I do a lot of work with a placed photo and type that flows around it. On the iPad I have to make multiple text containers instead of a vector shape for the text to flow within.

Change or leave dpi/ppi the same as document.
Created the document with 300 dpi but exports as 72dpi. This doesn’t even make since. At minimum, you should be able to select your ppi/dpi when you export your file. You would think it would export the same as your original document

Real brush tool, not “Blob” tool — draw single and editable line
I don’t want an outline of my line. I want a line. And changeable strokes and brushes.. And a real pen tool. Call me crazy but it’s kind of hard to ILLUSTRATE without the proper tools.

Top menu bar
This iPad illustrator needs to have a top menu bar with drop downs like the desk top version. With file, edit,and most of the other drop downs. I am a self taught user and have been using the desktop version for 26 years. it is the main tool I use for graphics for my screen printing business. I feel like I need to relearn with this IPad version and I don’t want to relearn I am getting to old
