Illustrator close immediately when zoom in
Hi, I'm working in MacOS Ventura with illustrator Beta 29.8 28; when I try zoom in with the keyboard (Cmd + Space bar), the program close immediately. This happens after I installed the 2 latest patches.
Please fix that!

Esc button that used to reset canvas rotation now minimizes window.
I can't change the shortcut back to ESC either. Please help me fix this. It's very disruptive.

Illustrator has trouble exporting files to JPEG
Illustrator has trouble exporting files to JPEG. It practically doesn't export them at all. It goes through the entire export process but ultimately fails to export the file. This only affects JPEGs.
Windows 11
Illustrator 29.8.10

Transform Pattern Tiles option doesn’t work when using Bounding Box
The 29.6.1 build (and the latest Beta build 29.8.0.5) ignores the Transform Pattern Tiles option being enabled when scaling an object using bounding box.
The pattern is rendered as if it’s scaled / rotated while you drag (if Real-Time Drawing and Editing is enabled), but resets back when you release the mouse button / pen.
I use Windows. I tried this with the GA build 29.6.1 and it works fine...

Latest Illustrator 29.7.0 #88 crashes upon file opening
As said in the title: Illustrator Beta version 29.2.0 #88 crashes as soon as I open files saved in the beta before. The main Illustrator (29.6.1) does open the file without any problem.

Custom toolbars made in IL 2025 do not transfer over to IL 2025 Beta when opening the workspace.
I have both Illustrator 2025 and 2025 beta installed side by side. I am pretty religious when it comes to toolbar customization, but unfortunately it appears that you can't transfer a custom toolbar between IL 2025 and 2025 Beta. From what I understand, toolbars are saved in the workspace file. But when copying my workspace over from IL 2025 to the 2025 beta folder, the toolbar I spent so long to create doesn't get transferred over.
I am copying from "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 29 Settings\enUS\x64\Workspaces" to
"C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 29.7.0 Beta Settings\enUS\x64\Workspaces"Is there any way that a custom toolbar…

EPS not rendering correctly in 29.6.1 when double effect is used.
In 29.6.1, I faced a major issue. All those files where an object has double transparency effect - For example
1) Apply MULTIPLY effect (Try applying on a gradient)
2) Group the object with self (CMD + G)
3) Apply SCREEN effectSuch files are not rendering properly in the version mentioned. However version 29.5.1 works as expected.
Please fix this on priority.Cheers!!

Illustrator 2025 Version 29.6.1 de bir resmi maskelediğiniz zaman (clipping Mask) Overprint açık ise normal bir görünüm var. Ancak Overprint kapatıldığında resmin maske alanının dışı da görünüyor. Bu durum önceki versiyonlarda olmuyordu. Denemek için çalışmayı 2023, 2024 versiyonlarında açtığımda herhangi bir problem görülmüyor. Bu sorundan dolayı 2025 versiyonunu kullanamıyorum.

The program closed just when i just finished making the final details and normally when it closes for a bug it saves a backup automatically
I need back my archive, I just lost 4 hours investing time in that work and it closed without any explanation, normally when it closes it shows you a notification to fill a form of information but now it was nothing, like it didnt care at all.

adobe fonts are disappearing I see them in preview but when i open the file they are gone.

Remove Bleed Icon from Artboard
A red "Print Bleed" icon appears in the upper right of a document when bleed is applied. The icon doesn't provide any function other than show a message that it's a bleed. We need a way to turn this off.
140 votesWhile Ai now allows to get this disabled in Preferences > General, with the "Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed", I personally don’t think it’s a full solution (and won’t close the request).
I think Ai should allow to disable this right there, from this icon, and should not force us to hunt the option in the closet.

When typing, Shift+R doesn't type a letter
Typing R doesn’t work. I think it's changing to the brush tool?

Deleting anything in Layers panel with Delete button focuses the Search field
When in Beta I highlight an object in Layers panel and click the Delete button there — suddenly the Search field receives focus, preventing me from switching tools with hotkeys.
If I drag the object onto the Delete button there — it works fine.

Beta Print Bleed has problems with locked layers
In Illustrator Beta when a bleed is applied to an Artboard and then you lock a layer a message pops up saying "Unhide and unlock objects to include them in generative Expand". Once you click OK the message keeps reappearing not allowing you to do anything else.

Snap to Point is broken in Beta 29.6 91
When we disable everything but Snap to Point (to have a clean experiment), the way it works is awful.
It seems like it happens after all, but the way the cursor blinks and the object gets snapped only after the mouse is released makes it very unobvious (snap-to-pointtestBeta.gif)
Now take a look how general release handles it. This is how it should work (snap-to-pointtestGA.gif) — no cursor jittering, the objects renders as snapped before mouse/pen is released.

Have to restart Illustrator three times to load certain Adobe fonts
Certain fonts don't load in Illustrator unless i restart the program multiple times.
Sofia pro for example will never load in the first time and on the second start, will only load the base, so i can't get anything more than the italics and bold weights. in addition, just recently on the second start, i get the error that there is no account tied to my startup.
By the third restart, i can load in demi, medium, black, and the rest that I need.

Some tools don’t allow to snap the transformation pivot to the current selection’s own points using Smart Guides
The latest Beta 29.6.57
It seems like Rotate and Scale tools (and I suspect others as well) no longer see Smart Guides for the current selection’s own points — only of other objects. What’s wrong? All SG options are checked, as always for me.Still works as expected in the main build.
