Remove Bleed Icon from Artboard
A red "Print Bleed" icon appears in the upper right of a document when bleed is applied. The icon doesn't provide any function other than show a message that it's a bleed. We need a way to turn this off.
140 votesWhile Ai now allows to get this disabled in Preferences > General, with the "Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed", I personally don’t think it’s a full solution (and won’t close the request).
I think Ai should allow to disable this right there, from this icon, and should not force us to hunt the option in the closet.

Rezising text boxes has become annoying
When having a text inside a text box is impossible to resize this box. If one tries to do so with the pointer the text gets deformed, there´s no way to resize the box. And if tries to do it with the Direct Selection Tool (A) using both ends of the box, illustrator does anything totally different, like moving the box to one side or even Redo of any other object arround.
The only way to do it is selecting each corner of the box and moving one at the time.

Black screen when opened
On the Mac and updated software and for computer and app, the screen is completely black when opened. its been like this for a week. I have a project that needs to be done. Please fix.

Rulers have turned black
Operating system: See DxDiag.txt document
Version Illustrator (Beta) 29.8 28 (64-bit)
I opened Illustrator yesterday to find the rulers have blacked out (see image). I have tried everything I can think of, even uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator but to no avail.
The rulers work just fine on the regular version, the problem only exists on the Beta version.Many thanks David

Copy an element and paste it. It should be in a selected state, but it isn't.

However, this build got Shift broken for constraining transformation, so it’d be wise to wait for the next Beta build, where it is reported to be fixed.

GPUパフォーマンスのアニメーションズームをオンにしている状態で、長くイラレを使用していると勝手にアニメーションズームが作動しなくなる。その際環境設定を確認してもオンになっている状態。一度データを落としてから開くと改善されている。この問題は今まで20回以上怒っている。確認願う。

Shift Constrain not working
Since update to v29.5.0.35, holding the shift key while resizing an object does not constrain the aspect ratio of the object.
This happens whether "Transform Tools" is checked or unchecked.One exception is if I create a new object using the shape tool. Constraint works for those objects until I alter them, or if I try to resize while another object is selected.
I have reset preferences, restarted Illustrator and the OS.

Transform Pattern Tiles option doesn’t work when using Bounding Box
The 29.6.1 build (and the latest Beta build 29.8.0.5) ignores the Transform Pattern Tiles option being enabled when scaling an object using bounding box.
The pattern is rendered as if it’s scaled / rotated while you drag (if Real-Time Drawing and Editing is enabled), but resets back when you release the mouse button / pen.
I use Windows. I tried this with the GA build 29.6.1 and it works fine...

Impossible to enter special characters (diacritics) in layer names and AI prompts
It is impossible to enter special characters (ones with diacritics - ęóąśłżźćń) in layer names and AI prompt window. In Polish they're entered from keyboard using right alt+character (ś = r-alt+s), so it might be realted to that...? Anyways, those are essential in Polish.

Artboard reference point bug
No matter where the reference point is set (see screenshot), when resizing the artboard Illustrator acts as if it was in the bottom left corner. It started in previous version and persists in v30. In a document with one artboard it's annoying, in a document with 40 artboards it makes work impossible.

Document background white only when artboard edges are turned off
After latest update (30.4.42) document background turned grey and only goes white when artboard edges are turned off. It is correct in settings (see screenshot; "Biel" = white).

The Control bar fill and stroke color option is broken again
The Control bar fill and stroke color option is broken again. The color is changing incorrectly when I select a swatch color or when I am trying to enter values in the color mixer. Also it is changing the color mode incorrectly in the color mixer when starting to enter values, for example when I start entering RGB values it changes the values to CMYK even though the document is RGB. There are many more problems that are adding up. The more Illustrator is trying to create new features the more it is becoming unusable.

イラストレーターがダウンロードもできないし、使えない
イラストレーターベータ版を開こうとしたら、「ビルドの有効期限が切れました」と表示されていたので、一度アンインストールしてもう一度ダウンロードしようとcreativecloudから入手を試みましたが
「アプリケーションを正しく起動できませんでした(0xc000007b)」の表記が出てしまい再ダウンロードもできませんでした。
どうやってイラストレーターを使用したらいいのでしょうか？
パソコンは再起動も行ってみました。
新しく購入したパソコンがSnapdragon X シリーズプロセッサーを搭載した Copilot+ PC
である為、以下公式の説明通りの方式で仕組みが構築されるまで Adobe Illustrator （Beta）を使用していました。

Preferences require 2x Enter to commit and exit
Focus is in Keyboard Increment in Preferences now, but you have to hit Enter 2x to commit and exit the dialog. Used to be 1x.

Smart guides not working
Operating System: macOS 15.6 (Apple M4 pro), Adobe Illustrator Beta version 29.9
Smart Guides are turned on, View > Smart Guides is on, but not working
When moving or aligning objects, no smart guide lines appear.
Actual result: No smart guides show up at all.
Additional information:
I have tried everything:
Reset Illustrator Preferences
Enabled/ disabled GPU Performance
Reinstalled Illustrator
Restarted Mac

When typing, Shift+R doesn't type a letter
Typing R doesn’t work. I think it's changing to the brush tool?
I can a capital letter R by using the glyph window, though.Version 29.6 173

The Artboards have been buggy for years—when will this get fixed????
The artboards won’t retain the names you assign to them. They appear correct at first, but the names don’t always stick—when you reopen the document, they can revert to “copy” instead of the assigned name.
Also, in the file I’m currently working on, there are two artboards labeled “22.”
This has been an ongoing issue for years! This does not seem like it would be a difficult issue to fix, so why does it continue?

Scaling an object with the bounding box using Shift + Selection Tool is acting weird (Illustrator Beta 2025)
When I hold the Shift key to expand or shrink an object it starts to act weird. Essentially it is not stable.

Illustrator close immediately when zoom in
Hi, I'm working in MacOS Ventura with illustrator Beta 29.8 28; when I try zoom in with the keyboard (Cmd + Space bar), the program close immediately. This happens after I installed the 2 latest patches.
Please fix that!
