An error occurred while saving the comment This can work in some cases, yeah... But I can imagine many situations when it will become very messy and uncontrollable as well.
What if I cut a potion of a path and paste it — will it become a new history logged for it, or treated as a part of the older one?
What if I join it with another path? Or make it a compound path? Or Unite?
What if I just cut and paste an object? What if I make a lot of duplicates and then change one?
What if use Global Edit to change several objects at once?I can continue on and on... This isn’t just a difficult thing to get done, it’s a gargantuan task. It will be quite difficult to maintain, probably buggy as hell, and hardly useful for the majority of users.
Plus it’d be extremely resource-consuming.Photoshop offers branches in history, and this has a bit more potential... although very questionable in its own way.
However, there is no such a request here at UserVoice, if I recall.
Would you find this a sustainable replacement for your needs? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Remember team — always make everything you change as an option. Anubhav said recently, presenting some features, that you 'learned not to change defaults', right? And then immediately presented new Simplify, thus killing the old one, LEGACY, team, LEGACY. Two decimal positions, three position, any number a user chooses. Same with Y-axis — just bring it back already as an option! Valid one!

Many choices have to be made blindly, Preview option is missing — not only for this tool, but others: Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Spirals, etc...AdminEgor Chistyakov

I AM able to reproduce it onw Windows 10, although it is somewhat unreliable — it indeed happens right when the releases match in time. Spamming it is indeed a simple way to trigger it.It does not happen with the [
The step recorded in the History is actually 'Move', and judged by the distance, it is just equal to pressing → key
If I unbind the default Bring Forward hotkey form the command in Keyboard Shortcuts — it STILL triggers.I can’t reproduce anything similar in Photoshop or InDesign.
I was not able to find general mention of something similar ever happened in other conditions in other apps.It seems to be just a weird combination of coincident triggers.
So far I can offer a workaround and just never release Ctrl until you are done with bringing the selection forward, but I guess you know it already.

Both latest Beta and PR builds give me untagged, so yes, I confirm this.
