Type on path tool bug
After reopening an Illustrator document containing multiple circle paths with type on them the text is no longer on their paths but rather scattered all over and beyond the artboard. Please see the attachments.
When you try to fix the scattered texts by clicking on the path with the type to path tool it will indicate the text was created in a different version of Illustrator (which is not the case) prompting you to click ok. This will have the text look as it should again. However if you then save and re-open the file the texts will be scattered again. So this clearly is not a solution to fix it temporarily.
Pulling a previous version from our backup doesn't help either. The document will look good initially but even scrolling up or down in Illustrator will cause the scatter to appear (reopening it without saving will do the same).

The opening poster experiences the same problem in a file containing multiple circle paths with type on them. So that seems to be a common ground.
Our file has 20+ paths with text on them.
If needed I can also supply the illustrator file.
System used: Windows 11, Illustrator version: 27.7
We hope you can look into this soon.

I've tested it on the beta version and here are my findings: Upon opening the file the text is still scattered all over the place as before.
However when you fix the scattered texts by clicking on the path with the type to path tool (this needs to be done per text), then save and re-open the file they will now stay put and show as they should.
I've tried it mulitple time, making changes, saving and opening again and by the looks of it seems to keep working.
By the way Illustrator will still indicate the text was created in a different version of Illustrator when fixing the scattered texts. So maybe the dev guys should take a look at that.
So what's the next step now? Keep using this beta for this particular file until the update production version is released?

Yes, it is safe to install it next to the main release. The only inconvenience you might have is that file associations will be transferred to Beta, so when and if you don't have any if these two versions launched, Windows will launch the latest version. If you have one launched, it will open the file. It will get restored once you remove it.
And yes, UV does not support replies, but I read every comment :) -

I've installed the beta version (after first confirming it would be installed next to the production version) and will test it in the coming days.

@Egor: Can that beta be installed next to the production version? As I use Illustrator daily I don't want to run into beta version problems while working on client projects (as I can't seem to reply on the Egor's comment directly I had to do it this way)

Draxeiro, this is believed to be addressed in the latest Beta you can install form CCD application.
Can you please install it and verify it is fixed for you?
