An error occurred while saving the comment Aaron, not sure I get it. Can you please rephrase it or make a mockup? As I see, Live Paint already allows to quickly recolor regions with the same color applied, with a double-click for adjacent regions, and a triple-click for the all the same within the object... But perhaps you mean something else entirely?

An error occurred while saving the comment Please select the object you are picking the color from and open the Apperance panel. Make sure it has only one fill applied. Share the screenshot of the panel.
Next, check the options for the Eyedropper tool (double-click the tools icon or press Enter when the tool is selected). Make sure you have both Appearance options unticked. You can share the screenshot too.
This might be a very simple issue with options selected or a known nasty bug. -

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

An error occurred while saving the comment A script feels like an overkill. A graphic style is just enough. Once saved, it can be inserted into a persistent user library and get applied in a single click. So, what's the point of this request? This is something you can already have.

An error occurred while saving the comment I think I know what you mean, but can you please record this on video?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, it’s a complicated problem.
Some panels have fixed heights. Some panels are resizable. When you combine panels with different heights and height modes into a panel group, and then dock them all — they start fighting.
For example, you have Properties panel in the group at the bottom — but Properties is a very tall panel, it has a strict minimal size, and when you enable it — it tries to push other panels apart. When it can’t take the height it needs (because you want Transparency and Swatches) — it collapses. Transparency has a fixed height, so the only choice Ai has to follow to fit them all within the dock is to stretch Swatches.
Just don’t dock Properties into the dock in a group with other panels. It’s s special panel designed to do exactly what you want — have everything a user might need in the specific moment. It’s not good though — but this is my private point of view. Anyway — try to remove it and see how it goes.
Also — try to not dock panels into the frame, perhaps this is better way for you.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea · -

Happy to announce that we have introduced 'Preview Missing Fonts' functionality to improve your experience when working with files that contain unavailable fonts.
If you open a file with missing fonts, Illustrator will now render the text correctly on the artboard in Preview Mode, even if the fonts are not installed on your system. This ensures the files appear as intended without requiring immediate font installation.
How does it work?
1. When you open a file with missing fonts, the Missing Fonts Window will appear, listing fonts that are in Preview Only Mode.
2. Close the Missing Fonts Window to view the text rendered accurately on the artboard.
3. You can optionally select the text, go to Objects -> Expand… to convert the text to outlines.
4. The text in Preview Mode is not editable. If you attempt to edit the text in Preview Mode, a warning will appear, notifying…

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes. Using Character panel does not do that, but when I change tracking using it, Ai still inserts one additional 'Undo' operation.

An error occurred while saving the comment Naomi, which Ai version it is?
Do you have the same problems in the previous version? Can you check it?
Which setting do you use to trace the image? Can you give a screenshot of these settings? Can you provide a test image which causes this error when you 're-edit' the trace? Please tell more about presets (I have my own observations, but I’d like to hear your own opinion on that).

An error occurred while saving the comment Not enough data provided to evaluate the problem. No steps — no investigation.
Please share the test file, the exact settings used in Save for Web dialog, the resulting image. Nothing can be fixed until it is clear enough to reproduce.
Mustafa, Illustrator does that to ensure backwards compatibility, to allow user to read the content as it was originally created when the file is read back, when users try to 'open' it with Illustrator. Please check, does this behavior stay when you uncheck the 'Preserve Illustrator editing capabilities' option when you export (save) the file.
