An error occurred while saving the comment Alas, this is an expected consequence from the change done by the team to boost panning and zooming in GPU mode. Some things get hidden now while we pan and zoom, including all annotations (guides, grids). However, I believe it can be reviewed, if we give enough reasons.
I have my own, but why having transparency grid is important for you while you pan? Please try to explain.

Hi Everyone,
The fix has been rolled out and is available in our latest release build – 29.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Illustrator will now preserve Global colors newly added to CC Library from this release onwards.

You say Photoshop allows to use Tab to change it, but I know nothing about this... can you tell me how it works there?
Also — hitting Tab and Shift+Tab force Ai to switch fields... if Tab gets a new function, it will broke the existing workflow of editing fields. How do you see it working?As for the idea itself — sure, we should have a hotkey to toggle it!

Do you have any clipboard managers installed? Any extensions in browsers that can have deal with text?
What options do you have enabled in Preferences > Clipboard Handling?
If you open History panel — do you see the steps you want to undo there?
If you open Edit menu — do you have Paste commands enabled there? -

If you are asking about keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys), you can do this in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts dialog (switch Tools to Menu Commands).

I see you have CPU Overprint enabled.
Just in case — does it happen in normal CPU and GPU modes, with Overprint disabled?An error occurred while saving the comment Mark, please tell more about your setup.
Your OS version, your hardware, your GPU specifically.
Does it happen with every file or only this one?
Is there a difference if you Hide Transparency Grid? -

An error occurred while saving the comment The team has recently made some changes to make working with large linked images faster.
Please try the new Beta version available from your CCD app and reply back — do you notice any difference?It is safe to install both the main release and Beta simultaneously. Notice though, that this last build in particular can have some issues while installation. If it fails to get launched after you first install it (it often happens if you already had a previous Beta version installed), uninstall it and reinstall again.

The released version 27.9 should have a fix for this issue. Please test it to make sure images don’t get corrupted anymore and reply back.

As per the comment, disable the 'Enable Content Aware Defaults' in Preferences > General to turn crop suggestions off

Steve, these are nice additions, but you should not pile them over in one request. It makes it harder to find, upvote, and prioritize.
