26.5 Can not change text box's language in the Character Panel
When I highlight text or select a textbox I can not change the language in the dropdown menu located in the character panel. When I am editing, all my textboxes and either English: USA or Ukrainian and I can not change them. My default is English: USA but for some reason half of my text is labeled Ukrainian and the Auto Spellchecker is saying every English word is misspelled.

The drop-down list is click-able, but nothing happens when I click it. It gets highlighted like there is a drop-down but nothing appears.
This happens with new documents and previously created documents.

'Can not change' — does it mean the dropdown list is disabled and you can’t click it?
Or you are able to choose the 'English: USA' option, but it gets reverted back as soon as you choose it?
Or it is chosen, but gets reverted back when you make a change to a text?
Or something else entirely?Does it happen in this document only?
What about previously created files?
What about a completely new file, based on one of the standart Illustrator’s document profiles, like Print?Have you tried to reset Preferences? (here is a good instruction how to do that — https://astutegraphics.com/support/tutorials-and-troubleshooting/resetting-illustrator-preferences)
