The ability to convert outline text into live text will be available through the 'Retype' feature we recently shipped. The released version can identify fonts for now. Soon it will allow you to edit it as well. More details: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/retype.html

There is no native solution for this so far and it won't appear before the deadline probably.
But you can try VectorFirstAid paid plugin I mentioned before. So far it's the only known alternative to me. The other solution is to use some other external OCR services and match the style manually.An error occurred while saving the comment Related to

An error occurred while saving the comment Thabby, can you toggle these with clicking the intersection or rulers with the right mouse button though? Just asking to be sure it’s not the menu glitches, but the whole system.
When rulers garble like you show in the second image — can you please try to toggle GPU, to see if it helps?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, I confirm this with the released version. When a handle is accidentally dragged with the Alt held it crashes Ai. The new record to crash Ai.

An error occurred while saving the comment There is a workaround you can have to get a larger rectangle. Apply the effect with zero extra width and height first, and then apply the Transform effect after, to scale the rectangle you generated before, to any percentage you need. Combining these two effect effectively solves your need, I suppose.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.3.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Is it a local or a network folder? Is it managed by a cloud application or not?
Does the folder stay locked after you restart the computer? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Toby, I wrote a script for this task specifically, because I too always need to create artboard-sized rectangles all the time — and since CS4, when multiple artboards were introduced, there is no native command to do that (before it was Release Artboard command).
Sure I won’t wait until Ai team adds this! They obviously prefer their cloud train and other major features the shareholders push, just like you said, from the top. No care about small things. Still I have hope.
You can put this script to an action an assign a hotkey, as I do.
Just rename the file to .jsx first.

What exactly do you mean? There are borders, which can be toggled on and off with Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+H, but this is not what you probably meant.
Perhaps a command to create rectangles for a selected or each artboards? -

A " does stay as " for me when copy-pasted, just re-checked, and I never had a problem like this.If I type it directly, it turns into a proper quotation mark — in my case « or ».
This can be tweaked and turned off in Type tab of Document Setup dialog, but I assume you certainly know this, am I correct?

An error occurred while saving the comment Full screen experience is something you can turn on with F key. Press it once to hide OS controls, and twice to hide everything except for the canvas. The third F will restore the default screen mode.
You can also press Tab to show and hide panels within any of these three modes.'ALL of the dialogues' is not that specific :) While I agree, some specificity won’t hurt. Which is the most disturbing at least?
An error occurred while saving the comment Toby, most messages (but sadly not all of them) has an option to not be displayed again.
I specifically hate when Ai says 'Ctrl + J does nothing', with an alert, instead of a non-obstructing gray label above, but I doubt you have the same issue as me. Which messages do you refer to specifically? Which are the most distracting for you?
Are you sure you are using Beta? Which build number is it?
Can you attach screenshots of the About window and the Effects menu expanded, please?
