¿Podrías explicarlo con más detalle, tanto con palabras como con un vídeo? ¿Qué intentas hacer y cómo funciona en tu caso? Además, ¿qué versión y sistema operativo utilizas?

Can you please tell and show more, with both words and in a video? What are you trying to do and how it it behaves for you? Also, what version and OS are you using?

It was never fast for me on Windows, even with plugins disabled.
I’d love to have a way to see a log to see what plugin (1st or 3rd party plugin) causes Ai to choke.

I see, you just want all handles always displayed for a fully selected object...

Back in 2018 I made a request to at least rendered those that are shown when an object is transformed, here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/35931781

Then, there was a request to show the anchors for all other objects, to snap something to them:
    https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/35012974

All modes do make sense, although in specific conditions...

Speaking of this specific thing you mean, I see the difference in the behavior comparing Affinity and Ai.
Affinity operates in something close to the 'soft isolation' mode (requested here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32614096, as well as mentioned in several other request). So, if one selects several anchors in different paths, moving one handle won’t make the all other paths other than the one that has the anchor deselected — Ai, however, drops the other path’s selection. Is this what you mean?

Jill, do you mean that Ai should display all handles for all the anchors even when they are NOT selected?
Or do you want to see handles for anchors that ARE selected?

If the latter, there is a dedicated button in the Control panel (not Properties) that does exactly this — 'Show handles for multiple selected anchor points'.
    Does it work for you?

When I try to open the attached file and check the fonts in the middle, Ai doesn’t tell it’s Myriad, it just shows no name at all.
If I try to change the fonts applied to the actual Myriad itself, it’s not it. So the fonts rendered is Inter actually — but it's Bold for me, not Thin as I see in your screenshot...
If I remove all other unspoiled text object in the document and check Type > Find/Replace Font dialog, I’m getting no fonts used. Document Info panel shows NONE as well.

My only guess it’s somehow related with the recently (relatively) added option 'Embed permitted fonts for file preview' ins the Illustrator Options dialog Ai shows us on Save. When I try to resave the document though, this option is disabled, and it makes me think it was disabled when the document was saved.

Can you force it to Inter Thin?

This black dot is not a center point actually, but a hilite widget. Dragging it would make the center of the gradient offset.
Since you gradient doesn’t have a color stop at 0%, there is none shown at the annotator’s ramp — and it would sit right there in the center of a circle.

The same principle applies to other things than swatches, that can’t be conjured up in a dialog. What about brushes? graphic styles? symbols? Ai locks the canvas when a dialog is open (for obvious reasons), you can’t drag anything from a canvas to the dialog. It’s still an interesting idea to ponder about, but it breaks more than fixes for now.

Francisco, what happens if you disable the Contextual Task Bar (if I’m not mistaken, with the Ventana > Barra de tareas contextual command)? Does it lag nonetheless? Not noticing this on Windows, so it can be a combination of factors, not a common problem.

Thanks , Chris. That’s a huge document!, it takes almost full canvas. I suppose, all your other documents you tried are as large as this one? What about a smaller one, like A4? Do you notice it misbehaving, with a smaller amount of content?
I don’t say you need to divide the artwork, I just try to understand what causes it, to pinpoint the combination of things that need to happen. I’ll try to mimic the size of canvas you have meanwhile.

Odd, can’t make it happen... at least based on your description only.
Chris, does it happen with a particular file only, or any document at all?
Can you share a small video that shows the behavior?
In the Navigator panel’s options, do you have View Artboard Contents Only enabled? Is there a difference if you toggle it?
Does Beta build behaves better? (it’s safe to install it together with the general build — the only downside is that the OS would assign it to all .al files as a default app)

Odd it is... Can you please use File > Package and share the document with the team, along with the screenshots showing the exact settings used to produce an SVG? You can share them here (if you are OK with this), or send privately via sharewithai@adobe.com (in this case kindly mention this bug report’s link — https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/51274834 — so that the team can quickly locate it). The more data you provide, the higher the chances the team could reproduce the problem in house.

It looks like you got an image placed in your document profile file. Some times ago there was a bug when instead of recovering a saved document, Ai would open a document profile instead (like 'Print.ai', 'Web.ai'...) and users accidentally started to work with these, adding images. If one got saved into a document profile file, this could lead to having these on export! This is a known problem.
Please check your profiles... if it’s somethings else — please comment back. Thank you!

Dina, you can do it today.
In Export for Screens full dialog, in Prefix field, type this:
    #AN_FN_
    where
    #AN — artboard name
FN — file name (notice it has no #, for some odd reason)
    and _ are just _ :)

With the file name 'test' and two artboards 'Apples' and 'Pears' it would give you files like these:
    1_test_Apples.png
    2_test_Pears.png

Does it work for you? Please comment back

I must immediately add — as AN OPTION.
Generating previews is slow (especially regenerating each time a change is made), and some users don’t need these at all.
But yes — in some (some!) workflows it would help a lot.

Oh, I love it. Not sure anyone ever requested this, to sort the exported items by their artboards (there was this one, about sorting the list of assets by artboards though: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31408063).

There is this quite old now MultiExporter script: https://gist.github.com/TomByrne/7816376
Forked many times, but not exactly modified... but it doesn’t offer the functionality you seek.
Not sure about this extension either: https://github.com/TomByrne/IllustratorSmartExport

You can try to modify these to perform the sorting you seek...
And I’d really love to have it from the box in Ai. Upvoted, thanks.

Wow! What about the dedicated Window > Swatches panel? Does it show these the same way?
When you try to double-click a swatch to edit it — do the values also correspond to white, or is it just a rendering bug?
What is GPU and the driver version?
Does this bug stay when you create a new document, or relaunch the Illustrator?

Yes, even with a specific gradient color stop selected. I don’t click there much, but each time I try to edit a stop, I fall into this trap. I wonder if anyone actually uses to to convert a gradient fill into flat (which can be done with hitting comma or the button under the selector).

I miss a way to de-activate artboards greatly.
I need all artwork shown and unlocked, but I need some of artboards to be exported as images to preview and discuss, but some others to export for printing. These groups don’t match, so I have to remember the ranges for each case. A hundred of those is tough to manage.

I’m still missing an ability to deactivate artboards. Not hide with their contents, but turn off the frame (unless I hover in the panel, perhaps), exclude from defining the paste coordinates, from Zoom into Artboard, from Next Artboard... I want to activate these artboards later, for export purposes, but don’t interfere with me navigating the canvas.

    There are several similar requests:
    1. Layer Comps, similar to what Photoshop does, requested here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32923834 (and the comments there offer several plugin solutions)
    2. Artboard-specific Layers ('Layers per Artboard'), requested here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31133392
Which one do you mean? Or do you mean something else entirely, perhaps filtering like InDesign does?
    And welcome to UserVoice!

The problem with this can be caused by the fact artboard can overlap each other, and one object can be placed inside of several artboards, or overlap some, or be a small part of another artboard while almost fully placed into another one.
How do you intend to work around these problems?
    Let’'s discuss it.
