私も時々同じことが起きますが、動作させるために何かを削除する必要はなく、Aiを再起動するだけで十分です。Can you enable the GPU Preview when it happens? Or is it only the Animated Zoom that stops working?
It happens for me occasionally too, but I don’t have to delete anything to make it work — restarting Ai is enough. -

An error occurred while saving the comment David, perhaps I understand it wrong... what do you mean by 'font cycling'? I read it as 'don’t scroll to the top position in the Font Explorer list, when pressing down for the latest position there' — but it doesn’t do this when I check.

The fix has been pushed into the latest 30.3 general release. Please update, check, and comment back if it still happens.
An error occurred while saving the comment I confirm this. There is no need to force the renamed item on top, but it does now. I can see how it can be infuriating.

As per the team, they do understand that it’s an issue for folks working across multiple languages.
In Illustrator, however, the font filtering is based on script, not a simple language grouping. Hence it’s not very straight forward to do for Latin. There is no concrete plan or timeline to make it resolved, but it’s now added to the backlog.
Thank you all for raising this up. Feel free to share more thoughts, do report, request, comment, and upvote — this really helps to steer the development.

If you are able to record a video with steps taken — it would help even more. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Joep, it still works in the Artboard mode (with the Artboard tool picked), nobody changed this behavior — dragging a caption still moves its artboard.
The newly added titles (displayed if 'Show Artboard name on canvas' is enabled in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display) won’t support dragging, most likely, because it would conflict with selecting artwork behind the titles. These new titles are for seeing names and numbers only. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Today it’s somewhat possible with Repeat > Mirror... but it’s obviously very basic, compared to what Ps, Procreate, and other apps offer. In Ai today we can uses the free MirrorMe plugin by Astute Graphics, or SymmetryWorks by Artlandia... but a native mode (or just more Repeat symmetry options) would be better to have.

An error occurred while saving the comment The embroidery market is huge, but Ai is not a specialized software — this is a separate market: Embrillance, Pulse, Floriani, Wilcom... importing a PDF should be something these allow, I believe, not the other way around. The vote count would have to be much higher for this to become a priority over other more general requests, sadly.
Pulse has a dedicated plugin for Illustrator: https://www.embroideryi2.com/adobe/ — but I’m pretty sure this is a known workaround.

An error occurred while saving the comment Not including profiles is the default option when using [Illustrator Default] PDF preset and I personally doubt it would change. Managing profiles is considered to be an advanced thing (a lot of users have no idea what these even are), and forcing the option and breaking the legacy default would be disastrous for many...
You should definitely setup your own preset with options needed for your specific workflow and use it for output. -

Some commands in Illustrator are secretly modal. When we edit text, Cmd/Ctrl+A selects all the text in the current text object... but the Select > All menu command doesn’t select objects when we do this! Strangely, using a hotkey when in the artboard mode would work as we expect (selecting all artboards), but the menu command behaves differently compared to text modality. The consistency is broken.

If yes — does it happen in all document or only those created in Large Canvas mode (Ai enables it when you create a doc with an artboard larger than 16384 points (227in / ~5766mm)?
