    It should also valuable if pattern shapes become smart rules and active helpers like it is for glyphs.
    It may help to place more precisely patterns in a shape.

    We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3


    You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

    With the v29.2, Illustrator now allows you to export into Ai and EPS format via the export for screen dialogue.

    You will also have the ability to fine-tune the these documents through the advance settings.

    All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it.     Hi,

    I have an issue showing some custom properties of my sbsar in Ai.
    I have a list of embeded textures in my material and a custom one which open an input field to load your own texture.
    It works fine in Dimension, but in Ai the custom choice is present but it don't open the "input Field"
    is it a bug, or a limitation y design?

    At least, do the new 3D features like substance rendering could be multithreaded? As new add-ons,I guess that they can be optimized without compromising stability?

    We have released the support for Gradient swatches in CC library with our latest release - v29.3

    You can select the gradient swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has gradient applied and add that gradient to CC Library through Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Gradient from the drop-down menu.

    Please update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

    When making some technical drawing, it's really boring to enter a text which should be the document name...
    without all the mispelling you can do...
