You can do that by using Graphic Styles panel: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/graphic-styles.html

An error occurred while saving the comment pageh commentedWhat I want, is to be able to copy the style of shadow or glow or other effect from one object to another. I applied a white glow to a low-rez image, now that I'm replacing it with a vector, there's no way for me to apply the same glow automatically, I have to visually duplicate the effect.

The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
PDF is now available as type in File > Export > Export As dialog.
However, File > Adobe PDF Presets menu, similar to one InDesign has, to allow even quicker export, is absent still.
If you want to have it, please upvote this new request here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/48670088

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks

Happy to announce that we have introduced 'Preview Missing Fonts' functionality to improve your experience when working with files that contain unavailable fonts.
If you open a file with missing fonts, Illustrator will now render the text correctly on the artboard in Preview Mode, even if the fonts are not installed on your system. This ensures the files appear as intended without requiring immediate font installation.
How does it work?
1. When you open a file with missing fonts, the Missing Fonts Window will appear, listing fonts that are in Preview Only Mode.
2. Close the Missing Fonts Window to view the text rendered accurately on the artboard.
3. You can optionally select the text, go to Objects -> Expand… to convert the text to outlines.
4. The text in Preview Mode is not editable. If you attempt to edit the text in Preview Mode, a warning will appear, notifying…

Dear Users,
We have launched this feature in the latest release of Illustrator, 24.2. I request you to try out this feature and give us your feedback.
Thanks,
SanjitAn error occurred while saving the comment pageh commentedPlease allow art boards that are larger than 272". When desiging display graphics, I often need artboards larger than 272". Because illustrator doesn't support larger boards, I have to do a lot of math and do art at reduced size unnecessarily.
Thank you

Scrolling through an endless list of fonts that I'll never use when designing wastes so much of my time EVERY time I work in Illustrator, INDD or Photoshop. There should be a way to hide unwanted system and microsoft fonts from design programs.
