210 votesThe fix to this problem is pushed into general release 29.6 — but the team needs a confirmation from us, since the nature of the bug is elusive. Please try to see if it still happens or not and comment back. Otherwise the team plans to close this report as resolved.

Two different ways of how global swatches or groups of global swatches are handled on duplication is confusing.

This change broke the existing method to quickly access the Keyboard Increment value, reported here. The team decided to revert this change until a better solution is found. Please watch this space for further news.

Scott, addressing your concern: You could also use the Properties Panel for changing the keyboard increments. That is, if you have the Properties Panel open. But I understand what you mean. Even with the properties Panel open, I think it is a wee bit faster to call the Preferences and change the already preselected value.

79 votesThe team decided to revert the current look of the active artboard border (2 px black) to the way it used to look previously (1 px black) — many found it to be distracting.
This change will affect General, Beta, and Prerelease builds. No update is required, this flag will be toggled automatically, presumably in few hours.
The change is not final, and the team is considering making it better.

Starting with Beta 29.7.1 the Rearrange dialog got a separate dedicated feature, currently called 'Align Manually'.
With it disabled, artboards get positioned instantly in the center of the canvas, as it behaved previously.
When this is enabled, you will enter the positioning mode after pressing OK — to allow rearranging only some artboards, to address this request.
With more than 1 artboard selected (but not all), the mode gets enabled automatically (and becomes locked).

Beta 30.0.0.21 now has a dedicated Object > Generative menu with Generate Vectors / Expand / Recolor / Patterns, Print Bleed, Turntable and Generation History

I just came across this in build 29.6.1. Never had this before. I’m working in a large document.
