We are excited to announce that this feature is now available in BETA (starting V 29.1.28).
The new 'Generate color info' helps you share color information with others.
To use this, just select the colors from the swatch panel and click on 'generate color info' in the menu options.
You can customise the size, layout, color codes etc.
PS : Currently we only support CMYK values but other color codes such as RGB, HSB, spot vs process colors are in pipeline and we will ship them shortly.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!
Thanks
Saurav

Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

WebP export support is added in illustrator Beta 27.6.
Please test it to see if it matches your expectations.
There is no information yet about exporting other formats requested. Meanwhile, we can import / place HEIC/HEIF, WebP and AVIF already.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tejas commentedIllustrator is not just for handful of artists who make illustrations. For everyone else objects are often times images, logos, other branding elements which must be resized keeping aspect ratio. It can be kept as an option in Preferences if locking ratio happens with/without shift key. With shift key option being off by default.

Changing the DPI to 96 also increases the dimensions of the exported image, which is not always desired. Dimensions of exported image should be same as 1x with better quality. save for web always creates image in exact desired size. Perhaps it behind the scenes resizes that 96 dpi image to 72 to achieve the exact dimensions as entered by user.
