I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

An error occurred while saving the comment Roger Hulley commentedI have similar issues, all since the last update. Profiled strokes now don't always work with rounded caps. It's 50/50 if it will work or not - there's no logic to if it's going to work, just pot luck.
Also see attached, this stroke profile (and others) have worked fine for years. Now, the drawn line isn't central around the point. It should also be squared off, clearly a bug.
Illustrator is a vector drawing program and it can't draw vectors correctly - this needs fixing urgently.

Illustrator version 27.9
Photoshop version: 25.0.0
OS: Windows 10 Home 22H2
Multiple monitors
If grab and move application frame, the application frame snaps back to it's original position. i.e. the application frame can't be moved. However it can be resized. This is occcuring in both Photoshop and Illustrator.
Steps to reproduce:
The application frame is not full screen size.
Click and hold the top of the application frame and drag it to the new position.
Let go and it should drop into it's new position, however it appears back at it's original position.
The application frame can be resized or maximized to full screen.
When it's full screen, it can be dragged to become a smaller frame but it snaps to it's previous location. i.e. it can't be dragged to a new location.
Reinstalling illustrator does not resolve the issue.
Reverting to Illustrator version 27.7 solves the issue. (So it's something to do with recent updates)
