  3. Shear / Skew / Slant / Angle Gradient

    Angle Gradient is missing since begging, I know that can be made through the Mesh Tool, but it is not very easy for everyone to make it, there are also other ways to make it but its very difficult. I wrote many basic, essential, and missing features for Illustrator in 2011 in Features Forum web but Adobe has added a few of them, it is very important that every software needs to be filled with basic and essential features, if those are missing then software could not be the best then the rest.

  4. Fix the zoom error

    Zoom error when edit artboard name. Illustrator automaticaly zoom 1700% and miss the pixels, after I zoom out a bit, there are the real pixels on 1600%.
    Every time I edit an artboard name, I must check, that my icon ruined or only the bug... please why?

  5. Use dark mode open/save dialogs in Mac OS Catalina

    The open and save dialogs currently appear light when the OS is set to dark mode. Can you fix this?

  6. One tab-over between Width and Height in New Document window

    In New Document window, I am used to typing a numeric dimension for Width, then pressing tab once to enter a dimension for Height. In the current version, if you press tab after entering Width, it goes to the unit of measurement first instead of to the Height. It feels unintuitive.

  7. Add 'Average & Join' to the Object > Path menu

    There is Object > Path > Average, and there is Object > Path > Join. And there is also the very useful Average & Join command... but that's only discoverable if you go digging through the Keyboard Settings and notice it lurking in the 'Other Object' section.

    Please make it easier for novices to discover it, and for experts to point novices to it, by adding Object > Path > Average & Join right below the two menu items it combines.

  8. Few Additional Features

    Fill & Stroke Color Picker Dialogue with Single Click.
    Fill and Stroke should bring its Color Picker Dialogue with a Single Click on it, which one is active we would just click and bring its Dialogue.

    Layers Panel.
    Holding or pressing the Control key and clicking on a new layer icon in Photoshop to creates a new layer below all the layers if no layer is selected, if a layer is selected then you do the same action will create a new layer below the selected layer which really makes sense.
    The same thing would be very comfortable in Illustrator…

  9. Allow us to customize/choose features/controls/order in Control panel

    A Feature that can be used by any Tool or Panel which is most common (like Fill & Stroke), that should not be active in the both (Control Bar & Properties Panel )sides at a time.

    When Text Object is selected by Arrows.
    If you have selected Text by using Arrows/Selection Tools, you should have good options in the Right Click's menu, like Spell Checking which is logical according to selection.
    It would be also better if these features will be added in Control Bar by replacing redundant Features Like Fill & Stroke which can be used by Panels and…

  10. Scrollable tabs and more usable Layers panel

    I would like if the Ai interface was less "cluttered" and "manual" to use.

    Specifically, as in the case of having many tabs open than they fit in the viewport, I have to click on the double chevrons (>>) to only be able to open one file at a time. Rather, would you guys consider making it scrollable? Or have the Layers panel open like Adobe Xd (aids renaming and hiding/locking)?

    As for a more "usable" Layers panel, I would appreciate if the panel could make it easier to name and select layers. For example, if I have an item…

  11. Image Trace results have deteriorated over the years, detail is lost and line work looks terrible!

    I’m a full time illustrator and have been using Adobe Illustrator since the launch of CS - so it’s been years :) I LOVE the app, in fact it’s how I make my living as an illustrator and the app features have contributed to my style development and workflow.

    Which brings me to the feedback I’d like to give regarding the Image Trace tool. My illustration style is a mixture of hand crafted, grungy texture and flat colour. I achieve this by creating pencil on paper line work, scanning then I image trace in Adobe Illustrator to vectorize. BUT, I…

  13. Ellipse Tool Properties/Dialogue

    Ellipse Tool, if make an ellipse then you have a little squire pointing to make ellipse’s End Angle and Pie Angle, but you do not have these feature available in its properties/Dialogue/Menu when you just select Ellipse Tool and you clip on the canvas or on Art Board you have no control features for that and you also do have the same features in Control Bar and Useless Properties Panel. I hope in the future version there must be added a dialogue for proper setting and measurements like retangle tool.

    How long ago was Flash rebranded to Animate? Five years now?

    The "Flash (SWF)" option in the Export As... dialogue should be "Animate (SWF)".

  17. Measurements are not working correctly

    If you want to make a new path with 100mm x 100 mm in dimensions and and do that via the transform palette then the path shows an incorrect size (100,013 mm x 100,009 mm) but only if the path has an outline. If there is just a colour filling then the measurement is correct.
    That should be corrected quickly.

    OS X 10.15.6, Illustrator 24.2.3

  18. Keep guides and elements in new document profile

    I know we can create new document profiles with custom size and custom swatches and use the profiles to quickly create new new custom documents with repeating specs.

    However either I am doing something wrong or I've missed something, but the guides don't get saved along the artboard size and swatches. Surely keeping the guides should be possible within the same technology? Would love to see this improvement.

    I have searched everywhere for a solution to always having to open an illustrator template file as a workaround.

  19. Blend Tool Default Settings

    I use the blend tool primarily to create specified steps between objects. The tool always defaults to smooth color spacing. It would be great to be able to set a default spacing mode. In fact, it would be even better if the properties panel showed blend tool options.

  20. Please give the option to keep Libraries palette open when you close all of your documents. I often start work with an asset in my library.

    Please give us the option to keep the libraries palette open when all documents are closed. I often start work with items in my library and it is annoying to have to reopen the palette when I close the project I just finished and am ready to start a new one.
