export non-printing layers so they are visible in a PDF
I believe this used to not be a problem, but now when I have a layer set to not print, it is not visible in a PDF. I have to toggle the layer on in Acrobat in order to see it, but this does not work for my needs.
I want to make non-printing layers automatically visible when saving as a PDF.

Atomic Design workflow between Illustrator, Figma/XD and Dreamweaver.
Create a workflow between Illustrator, Figma/Adobe XD and Dreamweaver to easily implement Atomic Design systems. In Illustrator, the user should be able to create atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages of a design system that can be opened in Figma/Adobe XD and Dreamweaver too, to speed up prototyping and development.
This workflow should create CSS, classes etc from the Illustrator file on. The changes in Illustrator or Figma/XD should propagate to Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
For example, if I design a main button in Illustrator, when I open the file in Figma/XD, it is already a button there too, with the three states ready to be edited. Then, when I open the correspondent file in Dreamweaver, I have the HTML/CSS already done for that button and its states.

Add an optional alert sound
I would like to have an option to enable an alert sound whenever I nudge or move an object in Illustrator. This would help me avoid accidental movements that can ruin my design or cause alignment issues. Sometimes I don’t notice that I have moved an object slightly when I click on it, and it can be very frustrating and time-consuming to fix it later.

Duplicate & Distribute Objects
An automated option to duplicate an object (or multiple objects) on an entire artboard.
You could edit the space between the objects on the X and the Y axis.
it would be super awesome if it would center multiple layers or objects before duplicating them. this thing could help the entire printing industry.1 vote -

The large print documents do not give the option of exporting the artwork to dxf or dwg format.
Whenever I work on large print documents, I do not have the option to export it to dwg format. I have to re-size the artwork and the copy and paste it into a normal A4 size document and then export the artwork in dwg file. And after I open the file in cad, I have to re-size it again to actual scale.
However when I export, I have an option to exporting the artwork in 1:100 or 1:500, but I don't have the habit of working with scales and it feels inconvenient.

Keep link when placing DXF/DWG file
Could it be possible to keep the link to the original file when placing a DXF or a DWG in Illustrator?
The goal is to be able to update the view if the external file change...
having the geometry active like it's done for text glyph in order to be able to snap to geometry could be the cherry on the cake. Many thanks

include additional information in the XMP metadata to indicate image status (linked or embedded)

Separate the Icons for stroke and fill.
Why does the adobe illustrator swatch palette overlap the stroke and fill? Why would they not separate this so we dont have to pick so carefully to access the color we want? What is the point of this? Is there some option to change the appearance of the swatch palette? I find this cumbersome and unnecessary.

create outlines into groups
It would help my pre production workflow a lot if it was possible to automatically create "separated" groups from text objects when I use create outlines on big chunk of text. For now one text block equals one object. It could be a function allowing me to produce single groups for every line shift for example.

American's with Disabilities Act Request for Adobe iOS/Desktop apps Google Play
As much as Katerina (our autistic artist) loves your apps, she has made it clear that she needs Adobe to migrate the apps for iOS/Desktop to android due to how her disabilities impact her life. We are forever grateful to Adobe for giving Katerina the ability to focus on creativity instead of her disabilities however, not having the same ability to create on Illustrator has decreased our productivity. Katerina has informed us to place an American's with Disabilities Act Request which deals strictly with access. Thanks again for creating programs which give Katerina a way to show the world what she sees/feels/thinks. Without it, Katerina would likely experience more difficulties communicating with the outside world.

Color differents problem
I have a problem with big color's preference difference between my AI monitor and real color on my and other machines. It's also concerning all the colors.
I choose the red color and I get the brick color otherwise. Really in image and PDF file, I see the red color indeed.
It's very serious problem for me, because I cann't know what the color I use to.1 vote -
Streamline and improve node/anchor editing.
I have used CoreDraw for many years, but needed to move to Adobe for a new position. In Corel, you can manipulate nodes (anchor points) with the direct select tool. Everything you need to do - add points, remove points, move points along the path, curve the line, move the handles, etc. - can all be done with the direct select tool and the 2 mouse buttons. In Adobe, I have to keep switching between 3 different tools to do the same thing, and on top of that, not all nodes have handles! It's very frustrating and slow. Why does Adobe treat nodes like they're an afterthoguht, when thy are the backbone of vector graphics? You have to use a plug in script sold by a 3rd party for $150/year called VectorScript in order to easily manipulate nodes the same way that CorelDraw does natively. I'm at the point where I may just draw everything in Corel, and then bring it over to Adobe to submit it. It would be faster than trying to fine tune objects in Adobe.

tangential transition in circles and curves
It would be very useful if there was a function to create a tangent transition at curves and circles. Currently, it is only possible with increased effort.

Embed SBSAR 3D Material Into .AI File
The ability to embed a 3D SBSAR material into an illustrator file so that other designers can open and use the same .ai file. Currently, the material is lost and greyed out.
Especially if they are custom SBSAR materials made in Adobe Substance Sampler.

Please make a user manual / user guide available online
Why isn't there a functional and useful user manual or user guide available online?
The lack of issuing any type of user guide is a huge missed opportunity. It seems this task has been Offloaded to the Adobe community. Adobe used to consider its customers/clients ones who deserved professional, well-organized, easy-to-use, comprehensive instructions and guides. Whatever happened to supporting those who put/keep you in business? I guess in the software business that's progress ...?
In today's digital/virtual world, it would be exceptionally easy to produce, share and update useful and robust supporting content. The current offering of tutorials is so basic, they're practically useless.

Allow apple’s “accent menu” to be used inside Adobe apps, instead of repeating the character endlessly.
Currently if you press and hold a physical keyboard button, it just repeats the character like this sssssssssss.
If the macOS feature “accent menu” works in future versions of Adobe apps. Typing in other languages that use accents like Italian (for example è and ì) would be easier. Instead of typing on another word processor then pasting into Adobe app. You can type è é ê ë ē easily on an English keyboard.1 vote
