I edit assignments, quizzes and exams, with musical scores in Illustrator, and add YouTube link symbols to them. For these links to work I have to open the PDF in Acrobat and insert the web links there. But if I later want to edit some text, object, or image and I open it in Illustrator, I lose all the links configuration.

Add "tight" leading to preset leading
From the beginning, Illustrator has offered an "Auto" setting for leading, plus specific setting numbers (12pt, 14pt, 18pt, 21pt, et al). What I wish that you would add is a setting for "tight leading," in other words, leading set to the same point size as the font itself. Like 10/10, 12/12, 72/72. Seems like an easy, one line of code kind of addition. And I, for one, would be eternally grateful for it.

Make calligraphic brush support dashes
"Dashed Line" does not work. At all. Even default brush does not respond. V28.3 on both OSX and Windows.

复合路径建立的剪切蒙版，如何把蒙版分割的对象分离成单独的对象。如图中，我用矩形复合路径通过剪切蒙版把图片分割，但是现在是一个整体，我想让蒙版中分割的每个对象成为一个单独的对象，请问有什么好办法吗？比如类似于“扩展”的功能。

Introduce a way to control the cross-section for 3D Inflate profile
For "Inflate", it would be cool to have a curves/profile editor to modify the cross-section more than the Volume slider currently allows. Currently it seems that turning down the volume essentially pancakes the object - and sometimes that's a good look! But it would be nice to have the option to retain an overall "bubble" feel like the object has at 100% Volume.

Copy and Pase Layer with sorted and named sublayer looses all the structure after pasting.
Keep the layer structure that is copied and paste it in the same structure after pasting into new location.

Option + Arrow to duplicate and move text
Please bring back the ability to duplicate and move text with the Option + Arrow keys. It was an incredibly handy feature. I used it all the time and it has been sorely missed.

An optional feature in which the Similar Selection tool only works in a pre defined space on the canvas
For example:
I have two copy's of the same layout in one canvas, but i only want to change similar objects in one of them.
I would love to be able to draw a box around one of the 2 layouts and only in the select area the similar selction tool should select the similar objects.That would be an amazing feature! for me atleast :D

Illustrator 28 no longer retains editable text fields used in Acrobat.
The company I work for often sends files that need to be filled out in Acrobat, but the art is edited in Illustrator. In Illustrator 27 there was no issue. I would edit the contents in Illustrator and then open in Acrobat to finish filling out the form. But as the subject line indicates, Illustrator 28 somehow removes these editable text fields set in Acrobat, making the file unusable for our customers.
This work flow is not our choice, it's a requirement from some of our customers.

Graph to vector
I'm requesting a feature I'm calling Graph to Vector. The idea would be to use the data in a graph and use the AI capabilities to generate a vector based on that data.
For instance, if you had a graph representing how you spent your budget this past year with 5 different categories divided by percentages, you could take the colors used to represent the percentages and make a vector with those same colors in those same percentages. If 20% of the budget was represented by blue, then 20% of the vector could be blue.

When saving Ai to PDF, the link image is not shown in the saved PDF.

Recognize the Develop settings applied in Camera Raw
When I drag a jpg image from Bridge to Illustrator, I would like for Illustrator to recognize the Develop settings that I applied in Camera Raw without first saving the image as a separate file.
Later changes to the Develop settings would then prompt an update in Illustrator like it does currently when a file is changed.1 vote -
Firefly Text to Image and Text Effects inside illustrator
Text to Vector is Awesome, will be nice to have Firefly Text to Image and Text Effects directly in illustrator, so we can preview our generations with other compositing assets in canvas.
Maybe a Firefly Panel, where we can choose what we want to generate, vector, image, or text effect.

Moved and pasted objects keep thrown off by 0.0001 pixels
I'm trying to copy, paste, then merge items. However, the pixels keep getting thrown off by .0001 pixels. Even when I put it back in place, it moves back to .0001 px above or below the actual coordinate. I already spoke to a team that did not do anything about it. This has been costing me literally over 100 hours of wasted time. I now give up and can't sleep knowing my pixels are not rounded to the nearest desired coordinate. Library doesn't fully sync out of Capture
I was told to put my concerns and ideas here although my frustration is mostly with libraries and the capture app capture is super cool for all of its features but the app was created specifically so that you could use those features and the library Assets in other programs my library assets won't save past about 200 and I've already created thousands, inc fun brushes i want to share, teach, but cant save or recreate so now I'm stuck. it's a cool app you should support it better and fix the glitches: export doesn't work, libraries don't work completely…

Illustrator doesn't let me use 3D objects and it automatically closes every time I want to use that option
When I installed Illustrator files from the Adobe Materials website to use with 3D objects, it stopped working, when I try to select something and convert it to 3D, Illustrator automatically closes. I already reinstalled the program but it's still the same. How do I be able to use it again?
