  4. Make the preview of the Arabic computer Fonts connected to each other

    During our selection of one of the Arabic fonts, the font preview in the list is incorrect in the Arabic letter and it is intermittent instead of being connected as is the case with letters in the Arabic language

  5. Inking mode

    Provide ability to “ink” a line drawing. Provide a means to color fill bounded areas - similar to the way color fill is handled in Procreate as an example. After using the pen tool to define the lines of an illustration - like for example a cartoon character - it would be very helpful to be able to colorize the line drawing by dragging color in to bounded (leak proof) areas created by these overlapping lines.

  7. An option to ignore locked layers with the Eyedropper tool

    At the moment, if you have a locked layer above the layer you are working in, the Eyedropper tool selects colors and properties of the top layer — the locked layer — instead of the (unlocked) layer you are working on.

    This causes frustration as every time you want to eyedrops something, you have to make a bunch of layers invisible first.

    If an option could be added to the Eyedropper tool, such as "ignore locked layers", this problem would be gone completely and working with Illustrator would be a lot smoother and faster.

  8. Perspective mode for Free Distort effect

    Free Distort effects, being a bit outdated with it's detached preview window, comes out Super Tool with Stylism plugin installed. But it could do so much better if there would be a tick, that turns distortion into a perspective one, as the tool with the same name allows to do. That would allow us to distort stuff live in perspective (and omit using overcomplicated Perspective Grid for small tasks).

  9. Generate .ico file from Illustrator (AND Photoshop)

    I just used https://icoconvert.com/ to convert a 32x32 PNG to ICO.

    This is something that, in 2020, Illustrator -- AND Photoshop! -- ought to be able to do natively. I mean, if a WEBSITE can do it....

  10. Add Canadian English to languages

    Canadian English is missing from the language list. It has grammar and spelling rules of its own, and it is strange that despite its inclusion in InDesign it is missing in Illustrator.

  11. NO consistency between products

    In Illustrator zoom is with "cmd+scroll" while in most other products/programs (e.g. Acrobat reader) the combination is "ctrl+scroll". This would be nice if it would be consistent in all products!

  13. Drag and drop objects by specific point of choice.

    The Smart Guide function is very helpful and helps with the accuracy and precision we need to handle objects. However, would it be possible for us to have an even more accurate tool? A way to drag and drop using a chosen point within a path to move? This way we wouldn't be bond only by the objects borders.

    This is exactly what Illustrator does when we hold Cmd/Ctrl while dragging. In this case it prioritizes the position of the cursor, and makes it snap exactly by the point grabbed to the point hovered on. Please, try it and leave the comment if it solves it for you (or not).

  14. Allow user to set type font and size, and keep it until selecting a different font and size

    I think it would be great if the program “remembered” which type font and size I was working with before in the same file, and keep it that way until I change it. It would also be great to be able to set the type and size across the program if desired, and have it be saved that way until I change it to a different font/size. Because right now, it always automatically goes to the default font and size, which is inconvenient, especially since the default size is 48 point, which is HUGE.

  15. Have a panel that shows info and keyboard modifiers for the current tool

    All Adobe applications are quite complex beasts, and what all the tools do and particularly what holding different modifiers or keys do can be quite arcane.

    I imagine a panel you can have open on the side, and it will show information and the modifier options for the currently active tool.

    For instance for the Star tool, it can say what Shift, Option and Command keys do, and that you can press Arrow Up and Arrow Down to increase the number of points as you drag.

    Pro users can keep the panel closed, but it can really help new users…

  16. Please make sure Ai request my log in all the time

    MAKE SURE Ai PROMPT MY LOG IN WHEN I LAUNCH IT,
    I tried restarting AI two times, it skipped the log in window,
    and suddenly it auto quit with all my unsaved works later on

  20. .png bug

    .png was exported from adobe photoshop and imported to Illustrator. This bug happens quite regularly. If it's not a bug, please help me to fix this problem. Thanks :D
