Update Blob Brush Tool Please with Refined Corners
Can you please add the feature of blog brush for clean drawings? Like no edges something like a paintbrush tool but an enhanced version. Please check the attachment for what I mean.. Just simply all lines joined together so it not create a mess. Thank You

puppet pen tool
it is missing in adobe 2017, how to get it.
1 voteThe only wayt to get the Puppet Warp tool is to upgrade at least to October 2017 version or newer. The tool is hidden in the Basic toolbox, and is located in Free Transform tool group in Advanced toolbox. Switch these in Window > Toolbars menu.

A program to make bag pattern, , leather items for us vitiate people that are not that great on computers.
A program for us vitiate people that allows us to create leather bag, or other items. With capability to print on EU, 8.5x10 , plotter for larger designs. I know some people are able to use AI for this , however some of use are computer challenge, something made simple would be nice.

Allineamento ad oggetto bloccati
Buonasera,
migliorare la potenzialità di illustrator per quanto riguarda allineare oggetti su oggetti bloccati sarebbe fantastico e performante.
Nell'ambito del mio lavoro usiamo fustelle predefinite.
l'idea sarebbe poter selezionare l'oggetto bloccato sulla tavola disegno o livello template e agganciate/allineare all'oggetto un altro oggetto.
Questo permetterebbe un allineamento veloce e sicuro.
Provo a spiegarlo con l'esempio.L'ideale sarebbe inserire nel pannello "allinea oggetti"
lo strumento allinea a centroQuesto permetterebbe la possibilità con un solo click l'allineamento all'oggetto bloccato
spero di essermi spiegato.

Allow show path on hover with snap to grid enabled
Currently, enabling Snap to Grid doesn't allow the user to see paths when hovering over them. Please make it so that users can hover over a path and see it highlight with snap to grid enabled.

SVG exporting of path points
Illustrator SVG asset exporter doesn't export single-point paths.
My work system reads SVG files' layer and object names as IDs. In these files, I create a single point with the pen tool to use the x,y values as coordinate data. (This object is graphically a Path with a single anchor point.) I'll also create paths with 2 or more points in these files. When I export these objects using the asset exporter, the paths with a single point doesn't get exported, while paths with 2 or more points export successfully. correct measurements
In the attached screen shot you can see that the height of each of these objects, when looking at the blue illustrator guidelines, is measured the same but in reality, as is clearly obvious from the stroke attached to one of them, they are not the same size. One of them is clearly bigger in size due to the stroke. This discrepancy is very and constantly confusing when trying to work in precision measurements. Please could you fix so the stoked object calculates the stroke outer edge as additional width, as that is what it is. Thanks James
3 votesThere's an option 'Used Preview Bounds' for that in Preferences, which toggles the behavior. When it’s on, Illustrator includes stroke weight into dimensions, and does not when it’s off.

Bring back the moon phase option in the info bar at the bottom left of the document window.
Once upon a time, one of the choices you could make for the info bar in the bottom left of the document window was the lunar phase: you'd get a little graphic, and the name of the current phase. It was a silly hidden option along with "Mordy's Home Phone Number" and "Eyes". But I liked it, and I always kept it set to the moon phase. It reminded me that the world outside existed, and gave me a quiet connection to the stars that I liked.

Some type of notification when a linked CC library asset has changed...
I'd like some type of notification when a CC library asset changes so I can choose to keep the current version (essentially un-linking it) or update to the latest version. This notification should happen when opening documents as well as while they are open. It does not have to be a modal dialog, it could also just be that the asset gets an icon or is highlighted somehow - but something noticeable. Better would be the ability to specify whether I want it to update art automatically, notify me that an updated asset is available by highlighting somehow, or notify…

Using a character other than underscore for appending artboard names when exporting files.
Right now when exporting artboards from an .ai file, illustrator names the file with the original filename and the artboard name, separated by an underscore. I would prefer a dash, as the underscore isn't recognized as a non-word character when double-clicking to select text. Giving the user the able to select the prefix character would solve this problem.

requesting keyboard shortcut for 50% zoom
It would be great to have a keyboard shortcut to zoom to 50%. Often I want to see my artboard with some black/background around it instead of as full-screen or actual size.
I currently do this by Ctrl+0 to fit to screen and then Alt + scroll to zoom out a little. But it would be great to cut this down to a single step.
Ctrl + 5 is not currently defined in Illustrator default hotkeys, so it would not interfere with any existing commands.

Add "don't show again" option to error dialog for hidden and locked objects when moving or copying artboard
I am now noticing a error dialog appearing when I try to move or copy an artboard when any layer in the document is hidden or locked that says "Any hidden or locked objects in the artboards will not be moved." This is also appearing if I have any elements locked or hidden even when those objects are not on the artboard I am interacting with.
Normally this would be fine, but when the artboard contains only unlocked and visible elements on unlocked and visible layers I am still seeing the error popping every time I move or copy an…

Crop command embedding linked images
I would be thankful if linked images remain linked (instead of being embedded after using the crop command). I would like to believe that this can be made possible. This is the normal behaviour in other graphic design software.
3 votesIf you want to keep a cropped image as a live linked image, you should Clip it instead. Press the Mask button (in Control or Properties panel) and Ai will create and select a rectangular path with the same dimensions. Transform this path with any tool you like or with the bounding box, and the image inside will remain unembedded.
Crop command, on the other hand, is intended specifically for 'physical' cropping, and since Ai won’t edit the original placed image, it gets embedded and then cropped.
Just use the method you need.
