my colors keep shifting in illustrator. rgb and CMYK. seems to happen in ever doc.
I create swatches and it still doesnt remember shifts the value.

Hue bar in Recolor artwork needs to come back
The older feature of 'Hue Bar' in the Recolor artwork was a really helpful tool

Illustrator Updates
Every single time I try and update Adobe Illustrator, it gives me an Error Code 145 and does not update. I have to log out of Creative Cloud, restart my computer, log back into Creative Cloud, and try updating again. This is incredibly frustrating since I usually have several other things in the works and I have to close everything down and restart. The explanation I got, "the application processes would have stuck which causes the error." PLEASE FIX THIS!

Please make Optical Kerning the default instead of Automatic
Please make Optical Kerning the default instead of Automatic.
It's a draw on productivity when I have to change Optical Kerning to Automatic in each new document.

Font Style Blend Tool
A blend tool that transitions fontstyle over a phrase. For example I will use the phrase "a maiore ad minus". The first letter A would be Times New Roman and the final word Minus is in Arial. My proposed blend tool would show the transition of fonts on the words "maiore ad".

Make Adobe Fresco a plug in or extension for Illustrator.
I want to use fresco but can't because i dont have a compatible machine, but it also makes no sense that drawing and painting on illustrator is difficult.
either allow fresco on more things or make a plugin that allows illustrator to function like fresco.

Use of Adobe Fresco with external drawing devices like Kamvas Pro 22!!!
Hi there, I am currently using Kamvas Pro 22 as a drawing device. This external drawing screen is connected to my laptop. It is very frustrating Adobe Fresco seems to have been developed to work with a very limited selection of devices only. Please adapt it accordingly.

Checkbox to saving process for different file formats
When we save for clients different file formats, it takes a lot of time to choose PNG and save, AI and save, EPS and save, PDF then save. Maybe a checkbox when we export what kind of file formats we want to export, and it also rewrites the earlier files.

arrows not working (left, up, right, down)
My navigation arrows aren't working for moving objects incrementally and using along with the shift key to make larger incremental movements of objects.

Actually Fix Adobe Illustrator
It sucks how I'll be able to use Adobe Illustrator for a bit on my laptop (MacBook Air 13 inch Retina) then it crashes my entire laptop, it will freeze and my tabs would flicker really bad and at times part of my screen would go black while the other half is glitching, I downloaded the entire Creative Cloud to use for work not to sit around and get frustrated while trouble-shooting all of the problems with this application.

Allow difference keyboard increments for up/down and left/right arrow keys.
Please let us define separate increment values for each arrow key, or at least up/down and left/right.

Hiperlinks
Right now you must use Acrobat or Indesign to integrate hiperlinks in the file. You can do the 0% opacity trick (putting a hiperlink in 0% opacity on top of the text you want to link) but it's not usable or efficient.
I have so many files that are 90% illustracions, so it's the best for me to use Illustrator, but I would love to include the links in the file, not having to edit it in other softwares afterwards...1 vote -
Document Color Mode - add option of Grayscale
I need to make a lot of documents that must print in one color. I truly wish Illustrator offered a Document Color Mode of Grayscale - that mode would prevent use of color in any object created in ai, and would convert anything Placed, imported, or otherwise part of the document as Grayscale. It would also be good to have an "Open As" Grayscale option...

Object position should be able to be locked.
When aligning multiple objects to each other, all of them translates. There's no option to make one fixed (position locked) and then align all the other object to that fixed one. E.g. a content to a box object.

Allow user to make a new file using aspect ratio alongside width & height.

Rounded corners on crop tool
When crop tool is selected, add the live corners option to crop rounded corners or circles. Please and thank you.
1 voteThere is an intended way to do it.
Once your image is cropped, you can do Object > Clipping Mask > Make and Ai will create and select a rectangular clipping mask for your image.
Then you have to convert it to a live shape, with Object > Shape > Convert to Shape.
Then you can round its corners in Transform panel, typing in a value in one of the Corner Radius fields (if they are linked) in the Rectangle Properties section.
All of these can be recorded as an action and applied later with a click in Actions panel or a hotkey.
Please test how it works for you and comment back.

give users the option to copy layers, and NOT have them renamed.
currently, Character Animator REQUIRES multiple layer hierarchies that use the exact same naming convention.
When I duplicate a perfectly good Layer Hierarchy, every damned single layer in it, Gets renamed. This creates Hours of tedious work for me that is incredibly stupid.
I want a set of options in the preferences to dictate exactly how Illustrator behaves when it duplicates a Layer/Layer Hierarchy.
I want to be able to change the string used.
I want to be able to set it to use a numbering system (number, step, padding)
I want to be able to turn it the **** off.…
