Show Tints/Shades menu issue
Show Tints/Shades menu in color guide does not allow to select a color on a first click, most of times you have to click several times to select the color, and on my Cintiq 13 Companion it is almost impossible to do it with the stilus.

Borders_Dashed Treatment Changes Spot Color to Process
I draw a box, stroke it with a spot color, apply a "borders_dashed" treatment. The Spot color becomes process. Please fix.

【不具合報告】macOS Tahoe 標準日本語 IME が Adobe Illustrator でインライン入力に失敗する
■ 環境
・macOS Tahoe (26)
・Adobe Illustrator 29.8.6 および 30.3 の両バージョンで共通して発生
・IME: macOS 標準日本語入力（ライブ変換オフ）
・ハードウェア: Apple Silicon Mac■ 症状
Illustrator のテキストツールで日本語を入力しようとすると、未確定文字がアプリケーション内のカーソル位置（インライン）に表示されず、画面左下にフローティング変換ウィンドウとして表示される。変換ウィンドウ内で確定（Return）を押してもアプリケーション側に文字が入力されず、ウィンドウも消えない。Illustrator を再起動すると一時的に回復するが、数十分〜数時間の作業後に再発する。この症状は Illustrator のバージョンを変えても変わらないため、macOS Tahoe 側の IME の実装に起因する問題と考えられる。
■ 再現手順
1. Illustrator を起動し、任意のドキュメントを開く
2. テキストツールでテキストオブジェクトをダブルクリック
3. 数十分〜数時間日本語入力を継続する
4. 値わず、未確定文字がインラインではなく左下のフローティングウィンドウに出るようになる■ 試みた対処（すべて効果なし）
・アプリケーションおよびシステムの再起動
・対象アプリケーションのキャッシュ・環境設定リセット
・フォントキャッシュのクリア
・入力ソースの再登録
・ライブ変換の ON/OFF 切り替え
・アプリケーシンのバージョンダウングレード（30.3 → 29.8.6）■ 鈴決した事実
AppleScript による Illustrator への JavaScript 実行命令は正常に通るため、Apple Events 自体のブロックはない。IME とアプリケーション間のインライン入力連携（Text Input Client プロトコル）が切れることが原因と考えられる。■ 要望
macOS Tahoe の標準日本語 IME において、長時間使用後にインライン入力セッションが失われる不具合を修正していただきたい。特に Adobe Illustrator のようなプロフェッショナル送のドローイングアプリケーションでの再現性が高い。1 vote -
The preview is incorrect because some images are missing
Ever since at least Illustrator version 29.8.5, I've been having preview issues with linked images. Some images are missing from my preview.
I tested it in Illustrator 30.3, and the problem persists.

Panning at high zoom levels appears blurry
The issue that previously occurred and was resolved has reappeared in the latest version. I have attached the previous link and details. I kindly request a prompt resolution.

If you drag to work with the preview enlarged, the work area preview will look blurry.
The more you zoom in, the more severe the symptoms are.
There wasn't until the last version of 2023, but it came up at some point.

Transparency Information Lost When Importing Illustrator v30 AI Files into After Effects 2026
Environment:
- Hardware: MacBook Pro 16-inch (November 2023), Apple M3 Pro, 36GB RAM
- OS: macOS Sequoia 15.7.4
- Illustrator version with issue: v30.2.1 (2026)
- Illustrator version without issue: v28.7.10 (2024)
- After Effects version: 2026When an .ai file saved in Illustrator 2026 (v30) is imported as footage into After Effects 2026, transparency information — including blend modes, opacity settings, and effects such as drop shadows — is lost or ignored. Affected layers render as fully opaque.
Re-saving the identical artwork in Illustrator 2024 (v28.7.10)…

Windows Explorer freezes when Saving As PDF
- Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro. Fully up-to date (as of Feb. 27, 2026). DXdiag attached.
- Illustrator 30.2.1 (64-bit) ** Only Illustrator and Photoshop installed (via Creative Cloud application)
- Open AI file
- Save as.. PDF
- Choose a PDF option, click Save
- Click Windows Start Menu icon (or any other icon on the task bar) - Windows task bar (explorer.exe) will be unresponsive
- To remedy, Ctrl-Alt-Del and open Task Manager -> Right-click Windows Explorer -> Restart
I literally have to do this every time I start Illustrator. It then seemingly stay stable for awhile, but then will randomly lock up Windows…

Changing the Japanese font in the Type tool does not update it.

Linked transparency ignored in document color mode CMYK
I've noticed that, at least as of Illustrator version 30.1, transparency in linked files is ignored while the document color mode is CMYK and the View Preview mode is GPU. It does not seem to matter if the original is in CMYK mode or not.
To reproduce the issue, create two Illustrator documents. In the first, draw a few objects on the artboard, setting the transparency for a few of them to anything noticeably different, and save it as Test1.ai. When I try to SAVE AS, an empty window pops up with no options to save or navigate. This just started happening with the last update.

Zuher, please provide more information. Record a video, provide a test file or specific steps if there are specific actions needed, mention your OS and hardware details, the version number, so that the team could try to reproduce the problem at their side.

Acrobat PDF File Format error when saving .AI documents. The size of the passed callbacks struct is wrong.
Illustrator 30.0 (64 bit.) windows 11 recently loaded then I updated to 30.0. since then 99 % of the time I open my current .AI files to update them and save them, I receive this error which I can't fix. The only way to bypass it is the save to the downloads folder and then over write the original unsaved file with the new version. This is affecting my production time, so it is quite urgent. It could be a setting but as I don't understand the message I can't fix it.

Preview issues with Home recent files and Placed files not properly showing all artwork.
Home recent files not populating with updated artwork previews. For example: I use a personal file template, make changes, save as new, and the new file does not populate an updated preview on the home screen. Second, when placing an AI file in another AI file some of the assets are missing in the place file and/or moved and distorted - even though when I open the original file everything looks fine.

Include SVG code is not working
I used to be able to copy and paste from Illustrator into Figma without any issues. Then, vector icons started getting pasted as images. After contacting Figma support I was told I need to check the Include SVG code in the Settings - Slipboard handing panel. It worked for a few weeks and as of today it stopped working even though the box is checked.

App Lag when using Recolor
I am working with Adobe Illustrator 29.7.1 on Windows.
When using the Recolor dialog the app stops responding to any command or action I take outside from the artwork display.
The app also doesn't inform me if there is a crash or that the app is not responding.

Fonts not showing after update to 29.8
Intermittent issue there are only a handful of basic fonts avaible to choose from (myriad, arial and a couple others) where as I have thousands installed.
Have downgraded to previous veriosn of illustrator for now (29.7.1) and it works again fine1 vote -
Extremelly laggy experience
I have i9 14th gen CPU, 64 GB Corsair vengeance RAM , a 5090 RTX.. still my illustrator lags like crazy... It runs 10X smoother in my mac with M1 pro chip and 16GB RAM! This is soo annoying, I loose hours daily because of this lag...

Installed Fonts not showing
Previously installed fonts not showing anymore. Says the fonts are missing but it worked previously and maybe 1 in 10 times it will have no error and the fonts will show. These fonts exist on my PC so it's not a cloud issue as far as i can see.

「割注で2段に指定した文字」と「通常フォントサイズの文字」の字間をカーニングおよびトラッキングで広げることはできますが、詰めることができません。環境設定でトラッキング「100/1000em」で設定もしています。割注設定している文字の字間は詰めることはできるのですが…。
