ドロップシャドウを適用したオブジェクトをグレースケールに変換するとシャドウ部分がマスクされてしまう
macOS10.15.6 Illustrator ver.25.2.3
再現手順：
１．長方形を作成し塗りを設定し、「効果→スタイライズ→ドロップシャドウ」を適用する。
２．１のオブジェクトを選択した状態で「編集→カラーの編集→グレースケールに変換」を適用する。
３．オブジェクトの下に適用されているドロップシャドウ部分がオリジナルの長方形をドロップシャドウパネルの「X軸オフセット・Y軸オフセット」分移動した状態の図形にてマスクされる。
４．「分割・拡張」を適用してアピアランスを分割するとマスクされた状態でビットマップに落とされる。期待する結果：
シャドウをクリッピングせずにカラーの変更のみ行う。実際の結果：
シャドウがクリッピングされてしまう。以前に報告されていた投稿がありましたが、一部に挙動の誤認があるため、新たにバグ登録を行いました。

Temp file string prepended to filename slug
When saving a PDF copy of a file with cropmarks to a network share a temporary string such as "ai157536670945_" is prepended to the filename in the page info/slug in the cropmark area.

Letter Spacing
Open Type Letter Spacing doesn’t work properly. If I enable "all caps" the (usually ******) spacing is not applied.

Auto-sized Area text not resizing correctly
Looks like someone didn't understand (or maybe I didn't explain well enough) what the issue was with this bug that was declined. So I have recorded a video to demonstrate the issue.

New swatch is NOT global by default
- Use the color panel to customize a fill or stroke color.
- Drag the fill or stroke box into the body of the Swatches panel to create a swatch for the color.
- Swatch is not global as stated in https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html

Meta data in SVG file ignored
Meta data defined in a svg file are ignored by AI when opening file so no more available once the file is saved. Option shall allow keep or ignore meta data in an svg file to avoid broking the file.

PDF with negative values for BleedBox, MediaBox shows incorrectly
A PDF with negative values for the lower left corner of BleedBox, MediaBox and a TrimBox that has its lower left corner at (0,0) shows differently in Illustrator and Acrobat. Acrobat (and other PDF viewers) show the contents as expected, in Illustrator the content seems shifted.
The attached example PDF has three different pages, the first two pages look as expected, the last page (with the negative values) does not look the same in Illustrator and Acrobat.

Dragging a guide with Real-Time Drawing and Editing mode enabled makes black or cyan edges appear for all objects
I'm not sure if this is a possible feature, if so please let me know for what I can use it. Otherwise I would like to report it.
For example the following explanation:
I place some retangles on the artboard. Two objects get a color filling and the third one is filled with white. I use a ruler on one of the colored objects. When I drag the same ruler again, the white object appears and all object have a black stroke. When I drag a second ruler the white object does not appear. Issue Description
When I try to open files using File > Open… or the shortcut Cmd + O, the “Open” dialog window does not appear immediately. Sometimes it takes several seconds, and other times it takes minutes before it shows up.
Because of the delay, if I press Cmd+O again or click File > Open repeatedly, Illustrator eventually opens multiple overlapping blank windows. These windows appear with a dark/empty content area and no file information loaded.

Gradient panel bug
I can't scroll in the Gradient panel like in the Libraries panel where i can see the other options or like the Properties panel when there's more options, but the space is not enough, but you can scroll so you can see the rest. Missing fonts with asterisk still appear in Illustrator font menu — even after cache cleanup
Illustrator keeps showing missing fonts with an asterisk (*) in the font menu, even when those fonts are no longer installed or active.
This happens even in new blank documents and after multiple attempts to clean caches and reset preferences.
It makes the font list cluttered and hard to navigate, especially for users who work with many typefaces.
Please consider adding an option to hide missing fonts from the font menu, or improve the way Illustrator handles font references and cache rebuilding.
This issue has been affecting productivity and font management for a long time.

Not Getting "Overwrite notification" when exporting using "File/Export/Export as..."
This only started happening recently and I'm not sure what to do to fix it. Whenever I export a file using the "Export as..." feature, I'll navigate to the location where it was previously exported and click the "Export" button. I used to get an overwrite notification asking if I wished to do so and I'd just click yes or no. Now, for some reason, that notification isn't triggering and Adobe Illustrator is just overwriting. I tried using Windows Explorer to copy and paste a file to the same location, and Windows "does" give the standard notification to confirm overwrite.…

Gray popup about Unpropping appears again and again
A grey popup appears constantly whenever I am ungrouping things to tell me about ungrouping.
Nothing in Preferences makes this go away and I see it repeatedly so closing it once doesn't work either. I really don't need training wheels and this should be one simple option to disable all large tooltips, blue popups and gray popups. Since MacOs Sequoia upgrade, Illustrator randomly recording / monitoring screen despite disabled in Privacy settings. Sequoia bug, AI bug, or Sequoia revealing this was happening all along. Could just be the color picker, could not. Doesnt happen reliably with color picker use. Only happens in Illustrator and only since the Sequoia upgrade. Something isnt working right between the OS and app.
If screen monitoring is turned off, Illustrator should not be able to monitor.2 votesIllustrator uses Apple screenshot API to pick colors outside the Illustrator window with Eyedropper tool. Apple has enhanced security in the recent OS updates to let user know which applications are recording the screen, whether you pick a color value of single pixel or recording the entire screen.
Illustrator is not recording users's screen, it is required for Eyedropper tool to pick color from single pixel.

不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定時、不透明マスクがオブジェクトの不透明度の影響を受ける
再現手順
1. 任意の色を付けた矩形の上に任意の形状のオブジェクトを起き白黒グラデーションを指定し、双方を選んで透明パネルにてマスクボタンをクリック。
2. 背面に大きめの矩形を配置し。１の不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトと一緒に選択し、グループの抜きを指定する。
3. 不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトをダイレクト選択ツールで選択肢。不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義チェックボックスをチェックすると不透明マスクでグループの抜きが適用された状態になる。
4. 不透明マスクを適用したオブジェクトの不透明度を調節すると不透明マスクの不透明度も変化し抜きの状態が変化する。しかし、透明パネルでマスクオブジェクトを確認すると不透明度は変化していない。期待する結果
不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定した場合、被マスクオブジェクトの不透明度に関わらずマスクオブジェクトに設定された状態を保持して抜きを設定する。実際の結果
不透明マスクで形状のぬきを定義を設定したオブジェクトの不透明度の値に不透明マスクの不透明度が影響を受け不透明マスクの状態が変化する。この状態はグループの抜きを設定しない場合と等価である。EN

1. place an object of any shape on top of a rectangle of any color, specify a black and white gradient, select both objects, and click the mask button in the transparency panel.
2. Place a larger rectangle on the back, select it together with the object to which the opacity mask is applied (1), and apply Knockout Group.

When using Export As SVG in 28.5 and 28.6, underscores get replaced with '_x5F_', unlike in 28.4 and earlier
When exporting to .svg, '_x5F' text is added to one of the layers, which then changes the order that things are displayed.
I do not understand how this text is now added and would like to prevent it from happening.2 votes -
