Add Guides and Rulers to Illustrator iPad
Add guides and rulers to Illustrator iPad. It is very difficult to align objects and layouts accurately without them!

Colour pick gradients
Currently the colour pick just works for solid colour. It would be useful if you could also select the same gradients

Start a new line by clicking on the pen tool and/or support deselect with Apple Pencil 1
Thank you for bringing Illustrator to the iPad! I've been drawing with Illustrator since AI 3, happy to see it mobile so I can draw on the go.
I love the pen tool, but I want to draw more than one line with it. Normally I would deselect a line to start the next one, but my Apple Pencil 1 does not support a double tap (to deselect), and tapping twice in rapid succession doesn't seem to be the same as a double tap. It seems like it should, but I can't get it to work.
Clicking on the pen…

Hitting Tab to hide tools/palettes
Working on the iPad’s small screen would be so much nicer if the tools and palettes could be hidden/shown by pressing tab, instead of having to constantly close the fly out palettes.

Swatches - Gradient, Pattern, and Etc
Would be really nice to see swatches in a tab of its own, Currently it’s a little awkward to navigate through the small window and the swatches are very small making color combos difficult to distinguish. We’re also missing all the glory or gradient, pattern and misc swatches that are available on the desktop. Bring em to the iPad please :) !
In addition a shortcut “i” for eyedropper tool would be great (or some version that is more aligned with the desktop possibilities and easy to grab color)

Knife / Slice & Scissor tools
Available under the “erase” tool just as they are on the desktop. Or make a shortcut key to erase in straight lines, currently there isn’t an easy way to break paths.

Full screen preview shortcut / Artboard Panning / Rearrange Artboards
Currently there isn’t a way to view artboards in a preview mode without the background clutter (would be the equivalent of “Shift +F” shortcut on desktop). There also isn’t a way to rearrange or pan through or your art boards, as you would do via the arrow keys on the desktop version.
Aligning the viewing shortcuts with the desktop version would make viewing and navigating the IPad version so much easier!

Add option to Increase Canvas Bounds/Pasteboard Size
Add option to Increase Canvas Bounds/Pasteboard Size like InDesign.
For example, in InDesign you can navigate to Preferences > Guides & Pasteboard and set the size of the pasteboard. This is particularly handy in Illustrator when resizing or requiring more space for more artboards.

add Width Tool, Rotate Canvas, Swatches, Align To, Overlap, Desktop options in Isolation Mode
I look at Vectornator and Procreate and I saw how complex and user friendly Thayer were able to make their apps as a substitute for Adobe Illustrator now being iPad friendly. I used them to substitute what Adobe didn’t provide on iPad. Now we have it and it is NOT NEARLY close to what the other apps have accomplished and they are without half the staff and workmanship power Adobe provides. I don’t believe we can have excuses with this... too long a wait and I expect you would not need so much suggestions to make right what you already…

Create colour library to use on all documents in the app
Apparently this is not yet available to do. For designers that can only use certain colours on print products this is very frustrating
