4. Several proposals (buttons) for Artboards, Settings and Publish and Export

   These are all ideas for better interaction to add to the right-hand panel. I think it should be more visible and accessible when working. Currently, they feel limited.

   1)))) The Artboards button should be on the right, above the Layers button.

   Justification: Artboards are a central component of the Illustrator workflow, as users often switch between them to organize complex projects. Currently, access to artboards is somewhat relegated (in the top bar or in secondary menus), which can disrupt the creative flow. Placing this button in the right-hand panel, above the Layers button, improves its visibility and accessibility, as the right panel is a constant area of ​​interaction. Additionally, placing it above the Layers button reflects the natural hierarchy of the workflow: first, you select the artboard, then you manage the layers within it.

   Benefit: Reduces the clicks needed to navigate between artboards, streamlines the organization process, and improves ergonomics by keeping key tools in one predictable place.

   2)))) The Document Settings button should be on the right, above the Artboards button. And in this section, you should have direct access to changing: Name, Unit, Color settings, etc.

   Justification: Document settings (such as name, units of measurement, or color mode) are critical settings that users frequently need to adjust, especially when starting a project or adapting it to different requirements (e.g., switching from RGB to CMYK for printing). Currently, these settings are buried in secondary menus, which can be frustrating. Placing a dedicated button in the right-hand panel, above Artboards, ensures these settings are accessible without interrupting the workflow. Including shortcuts to the name, unit, and color settings in this section optimizes real-time document customization.

   Benefit: Simplifies initial setup and on-the-fly adjustments, especially for users working on projects with specific technical requirements (such as design for print or web).

   3)))) I would also place the Publish and Export button on the right, and I think it should be able to quickly export in the following formats: AI, SVG, PDF, and PNG. These are the most popular formats in Illustrator.

   Justification: Exporting is one of the most common final tasks in Illustrator, and AI, SVG, PDF, and PNG formats cover most use cases (editable files, vector graphics for the web, printable documents, and raster images for social media). Currently, the export process requires navigating through multiple menus, which can be tedious, especially for users who export frequently. A dedicated button in the right panel, with quick options for these formats, significantly reduces the time and effort required. Furthermore, the right panel is a logical place for this feature, as users already associate it with project management and completion tools.

   Benefit: Streamlines the export process, improves efficiency for repetitive workflows, and meets the needs of professional users working with multiple formats.

5. Being able to delete and remove personally created Brushes

   1. Currently with my update on the iPad illustrator I am able to create Brushes and to some extend edit them which is great BUT I am not able to delete the brushes I have created.
   2. Similar to te desktop version I would love to see the pattern Brushes option be included in the iPad version as well. I have to create multiple versions of the same brush to make sure they don’t distort but it would be great to have the pattern brush option to be able to change the size and length without having the brush distorted.

6. Feature request: Imported image matches source resolution

   When selecting an image to import into a project, it would be beneficial to 1) either prompt upon import with a) the choice to import the image at its original resolution or b) the current default of fitting [one of the] dimensions of the image to the selected artboard; or 2) have an app preference that allows for this choice to be made once and applied to all images imported into projects in the future. Often when I’m importing an image into the project, it’s already at the resolution I want to work with it at, and my artboard is larger than that resolution to give me room to work beside it - so when it expands to fit the dimensions of the artboard, I have to go back to where I uploaded it from and find what its resolution is, then back to the app to enter the dimensions in, which can be onerous after doing it for multiple images. Between the current default or the resolution staying true to the original, if I had to pick one, I’d prefer it stay true to the original as it does on the desktop application. 9. Can’t delete custom saved presets from the home screen

   When I create a custom size and choose to save it, it successfully saves. Okay. But how do I delete it now? Is there really no other way?

11. DXF import in iPad

    Since the evolution of capable CAD software for iPad we have a need to import DXF files for the generation of labels and work surfaces. This is possible in the desktop version of Illustrator but a significant roadblock when working in iPad OS.

12. Palm Rejection Radius

    I just bought an ipad pro since I was having issues with palm rejection while drawing on desktop with a wacom cintiq 27q hd. (It was detecting a point on my palm while drawing with brush tool and was making zig-zagged lines even when I have the gloves on and I wasn't really having an issue beforehand like years ago using the earlier versions of illustrator cc.) But I'm really disappointed with the ipad version as well. There are no problems with the glove on but w/o it whenever my palm touches the screen first it does a pinch of zoom. It's probably about the shape of my palm when I'm holding the pen there happens a little bump resembling a point of finger therefore detected as one. I have skinny hands so. It doesn’t happen when my gf uses it because her palm is smoother while holding the pen. At least that's what I'm thinking the issue is all about. I've seen many posts regarding this issue so it's more like an adaptation issue with slightly different anatomies of a hand. So maybe implementing something like palm rejection radius as in z brush would be a better solution. I hope it gets worked on. Thanks in advance. And yes, this happens even when the palm rejection is on. Forgot to mention.

13. CMYKOGV colormode support in Adobe tools

    We would like that Adobe tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe PDF support a new color mode CMYK-OGV. Today Both support CMYK and colorconversion to CMYK-OGV Extended Gamma is not easy. You need special tools and plug-ins. There is no color mode in any Adobe Tool that allows CMYK-OGV. It will improve print quality in the hole graphic industry. Also It alllows easy conversion from RGB to CMYK-OGV if there is a color mode option. Same also for Adobe Camera Raw that allows to chose CMYK icc print profiles.

14. Auto-Name Files To Match Folder Name If Created From Within Folder?

    If a user goes into a Folder named “Pizza Party” in their My Files page, and then selects [+Create New] while inside that folder, it would be nice if that newly created file were named something like “PizzaParty1” or “PizzaPartyUntitled_1”

    Perhaps many users would NOT prefer this, but just a thought!

15. Allow Custom Folder Icons/Images (‘My Files’ Page)

    In ‘My Files ’I’d like the option to select an image of my choosing to be shown in place of the default folder icon.

    A required square image size could be a requirement in order to keep the UI looking neat and organized.

    Alternatively, the ability to simply select a folder color would also be helpful in allowing users to color-code and organize their many files a bit more nicely,

16. Please do NOT assign our entitlement groups to any profiles when they are added to our console

    When Illustrator for iPad configuration was added to our console our Illustrator entitlement group was assigned that configuration. We want any Adobe apps for our iPad users to be wrapped in Intune for security reasons. Please do NOT automatically assign new profiles to any of our entitlement groups. This is a security concern for us.

18. ability to set a new font size default?

    Not sure whether this is a bug or something I don’t know how to change. I find it very annoying that the default size for any font is 48! It then carries over to the desktop app….. 48 is huge .
