1. Major issues on MAC desktop with shortcuts and tools. Unusable actually.

   Copy and paste is not working. Handles and boundaries are not showing. Things are randomly undoing steps. Zooming in randomly is happening. Most shortcuts don't work. I can not edit text, there is a lag and it never enters to let me edit it.

3. I can't make a mockup.

   The model option does not appear in the object menu. Also the mockup option does not appear in the Window menu. I don't understand why I can't see it even though I'm using the current version.

   In this case the Mockup add-on seemed to refuse to run with a non-English language used. If you have a similar problem — please try to switch the app language and reinstall both the application and the Mockup add-on manually through CCD. If it fixes it for you — please upvote and comment.

4. Make it so that you can zoom in and out with the track pad

5. Manual Dimensions don’t stick to the objects they are intended to be linked to

   Starting form Ai Beta 28.4.0.7, dimension objects are sticky (linked) to the objects we click with the Dimension tool — so that when we move or transform the objects, their linked dimensions move with them.

   For some reason this applies only to 'Aligned dimensions' (those that are made with the click-drag-release method).

   When we use click-click-click method, Illustrator creates 'Manual dimensions', which look the same way as the aligned ones, but for some peculiar reasons that makes no sense to us, are not sticky.

   This means that we can’t apply live and linked dimensions to objects that are anything more complex than a simple rectangle (which are the majority of things we need to measure) and we can’t move the artwork without dimensions self-expanding (because currently we can’t move dimensions WITH objects either).

   This makes the whole sticky-live-linked thing just a toy, barely usable for real work. This is not how other apps and plugins for Illustrator do this, because it makes no sense.

   And finally, if you compare this behavior with the way Angular dimension works — it correctly links the dimension with both methods!

   Please fix the bug.

   The latest Beta 28.5.0.78 allows manual dimensions to stick to arbitrary points and recalculate correctly when objects are repositioned or transformed — just as we expected it to. This includes gaps also.

   Please try it and see if it works for all the cases you have and comment back.

6. Issue with Eyedropper Tool Not Sampling Gradients from Images in Latest Illustrator Beta Update

Previously, I was able to sample gradients directly from images and apply them to other objects with the Eyedropper tool, and this feature worked smoothly.    I've confirmed that the Eyedropper tool is functioning correctly with solid colors, but when I attempt to sample a gradient from an image, it only applies a single color instead of the gradient. I have checked the Eyedropper settings but found no specific options to ensure gradients are included. Additionally, I've attempted to reset the tool settings and reinstall Illustrator, but the issue persists.

8. Star (triangle) rounded edges Bug in v 28.7

   Every time I try to round the edges of a 3 points star (triangle) the notification bellow shows up on my Adobe Illustrator (Beta) 28.7 version and as a consequence I can't round it. By the way, I'm using it on Windows 10 Pro 64 bits and I had this same problem in diffente files.

13. Dimension tool options won't save

    When using the dimension tool (beta) in the regular Illustrator program (latest update), I can't save my options. I can open the options window and change settings, but clicking "OK" does nothing. I have to cancel out to close the window in order to continue with my work. The tool will be great when it works correctly.

14. Dimension tool, unable to choose a Spot color. v 28.1

    So updated to Illustrator v 28.1. And with it came the blessing of the Dimension tool, however I've notices some irregularities with the settings.
    Not sure if intended or not.

    Regarding the selection of color, depending if you open the Dimension tool settings by double-clicking on the tool or via the "cogwheel" you get different functions.

    1. Double-click you can select a spot color as the ink/color used for the measurements, for example using an custom color "measurement".

    2. If you instead go to the settings through the "cogwheel" of the tool the option for selecting a spot color (färgrutor) is grayed out.

    See attached image of these two settings windows, in Swedish but layout the same.

15. Can’t generate prompt due to connection issues Error

18. Text to Vector Graphic (Beta) Fails

    Every time I try to generate an icon using the "Text to Vector Graphic (Beta)" feature in Illustrator (vs 28.0), it fails. I verified I was not using the BETA version of the application, checked to see if updates were needed, and restarted the application multiple times.

    This feature seems amazing and useful but still needs updates.

19. Retype (beta) in Illustrator 28.1 stuck at 4% "downloading"

    I'm attempting to use the Retype (beta) tool in Illustrator, pop up informed me that a 400mb download is required, Adobe Desktop Service connects to server and downloads 550MB of data but the progress bar in Illustrator is stuck on 4% and claims to still be downloading.

    If this feature works and can match fonts effectively it will be a gamechanger for me. The current solution I use is whatfontis.com and the interface is terrible and full of unnecessary steps and popups. Thank you for incorporating this tool!

20. bring back old trace dropdown menu

    Illustrator's trace menu now shows giant hot air balloon icons instead of a compact list, and also trace menu panel is buggy and does not work

    The team has revised the UI for Image Trace and reverted it to the way it looked in 27.0. So far this is only available in the latest Beta version, but it is planned to make it released soon.
