An error occurred while saving the comment Hmm, strange... I can’t reproduce it in 29.2.1 on Windows 10...
Does it happen with any art you try to create a brush from at all?An error occurred while saving the comment Do you refer to Beta specifically? Have you tried it in a ordinary release?
Does it happen for any brush type Illustrator offers? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Andrew, there is a more fresh Beta build, 37 — please check if anything changes about leaks.
As for the Feedback button — indeed! Thanks. -

An error occurred while saving the comment An interesting request...
The current approach to this would be to 'repair' the corner first, and there is a plugin I know that handles this... Deleting the small segment and using the native Join Tool would have worked for this as well, if it wouldn’t add points (and handles to otherwise straight new segments for no reason)...I bet this won’t happen any time soon. Widgets are bound to the singular points in Ai by math.
Bu a solution you can try is to use the rather new Smooth instead — like the GIF attached shows. It won’t be a perfect rounding, but if you need it perfect, it’s OK to have the path perfect first, I think :) -

An error occurred while saving the comment I upvote this.
There is a separate request about Blend, Put all Blend options and commands into one dialog / panel — http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31988758
But I agree many of the 'hard' dialogs would benefit from being a panel or an 'ephemeral' panel, similar to Smooth or Simplify (but not the compact Recolor, it sucks).
Funnily though, some dialogs don’t take away zooming and panning, when a mouse wheel is used, but I have no idea why...

An error occurred while saving the comment Darien, the mentioned feature is already released.
You can convert a 2D drawing into 3D by using Effect > 3D and Materials effects. You can also open the dedicated panel of the same name from Window menu.
If you mean something else from Adobe MAX — please clarify what exactly, maybe a link to a video could help. And if you wish to join the Beta program — Beta apps are available directly from you Creative Cloud Desktop application. Here’s an article to help: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/beta.html

An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher, there is a general request about this:
Let us customize what commands and shortcuts are in the right click popup context panel
http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/38276677Do you think that yours fits it (I can merge it then), or do you prefer to have foldable sections instead?
An error occurred while saving the comment Just curious: how large is your screen and what are the most used command in the menu, for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment I can confirm this now, with the file provided. Thanks!
An error occurred while saving the comment The attached files are missing — probably to some rules of UserVoice being silently applied.
Please send the files and the screenshots to sharewithai@adobe.com for the team to review.
It’d be nice to have screenshots attached here in a comment, for other users to see and verify if they have the same problem. -

An error occurred while saving the comment I don’t like this option at all... the ancestral curse of the implied screen resolution, hardcoded into Ai, forcing those who deals with both Screen and Print media at once to switch chairs...
Sure I use it, but suffer nonetheless.
At least you found a workaround, Jake, thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment I’m amazed nobody requested this before. Indeed, it’s a pattern that won’t break anything, but would be rather effective.

An error occurred while saving the comment Can you share exact details about your computer? Mac OS X 10.15.7 — got it, but other ones?

An error occurred while saving the comment I bet these features just don’t take enough attention and the team prefers to deal with those that have more votes. It also depends on the current focus of the team and the availability of engineers.
And, based on my experience here, the more broad a request is, the less likely it gets votes and gains attention. -

An error occurred while saving the comment There is also an existing request to just make Add Anchor Points function better, here:
http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31211215And I have to mention the plugin, PathScribe, which has a panel already offering this.
I like the Pen’s addition as well, but I’d love to have it as an option for it.

An error occurred while saving the comment I guess it’s too late to ask for the file!
In case Ai still chokes up with importing lightweight PDFs, please send one to the team to dissect it: sharewithai@adobe.com -

An error occurred while saving the comment @grant — do you still have this problem? In case it’s still there — do you use Magnet app at all? If yes — does disabling or quitting it change anything?

An error occurred while saving the comment Steven, I wonder if you still can reproduce this problem with the modal dialogs messing up with input fields.
If you still do — would you mind recording a short video of the steps you do exactly to make it happen?
When artwork is copied, it gets stored in clipboard in many formats simultaneously, so each app can pick one it can parse and read. It seems like the the copied artwork from newer versions of Illustrator is treated by older versions as PDF, and not the native artwork. This explains the clipping group and the strokes separated form fills.
I assume some changes were made into the structure of the native format that force older Ai versions to choose PDF... I can’t tell what changes exactly... I’d assume the formatting gets reviewed periodically to allow new art types... but in this case it’s really just simplest shapes and appearances, so it’s strange it is no longer supported. Curious!
