Chris, hi! It seems like UV blocked the attachments... It’s paranoid a bit.
Or do you mean you will post more, but don’t have them now?

O Captain! My Captain! The team would require to get a file like this to dissect, along with details on the PDF export settings, so that they can investigate it.
There are several related report about colors go magenta, and perhaps this is one of those cases.
If you are not OK to post it publicly (or it is hard to make a simpler test file), please send these to sharewithai@adobe.com (and put this link to this report there also for tracking: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/48855953)

That’s something I never experienced, even though had numerous crashes... The saddest thing is that making backups is hard (manual). Unless we go to a folder (which Ai won’t give a shortcut to) and backup a file, Ai won’t try to save this data, even though we have a profile, account, yada-yada. Ugh.

Kyle, no real advise here, I am sorry :(

    I’d add to that.

1 . Unlike in InD with it’s abstract 'Typical, Fast, High' I need to also see actual VALUES behind these. Something like 'Fast (18 ppi)' (the number is just a random one).
    2. I think we might benefit from the ability to set it to a custom one, similar to Raster Effects’ Resolution
    3. Perhaps we might need to link this both?
    4. Obviously this value should NOT affect exported images. This is interesting, since Effects’ Resolution does... needs thinking
    5. Definitely we need hotkeys slots for all, including the last used custom one.
    6. Surely we need a hotkey slot to toggle two las used states
    7. In InDesign the actual resolution is related to the image's actual resolution (there were some experimentations). Long story short — it hardly feels OK, so make this right.

There is a native way, but it’s not exactly the thing you might want — File > Close All. It should ask you if you want to save, and you can apply this choice for every document. But since there is no way to quickly open several recent document, unless you drag-n-drop or launch them from the Explorer/Finder...

Another way would be yo use a script (and scripts are great to cover the assortment of the various tasks we have, you should not underestimate these).
Check this thread at forums and pick the solution that works for you: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/save-all-command/m-p/8783487

Looks legit, thanks. Yeah, I see.
The problem happens exactly because of 'This file has been modified outside of Illustrator. Do you want to continue?' message. There is no way I know of to workaround it :/

And UV does not allow to share .js / .jsx script files as attachment for security reasons.

I get your point! But the danger of Save All is not it closes files (it shouldn’t), but because a user can accidentally use this instead of just save (the word 'All' is pretty small, and mis-clicks happen) — and won’t even know docs got saved. Then a crash — boom, unwanted changes get baked in, because Ai won’t restore saved docs.

So, when you are using the script — it’s quite a different operation, no way you can run it by chance, it is always intended (well, 99%, you can still launch a wrong script).

Tell me more about the problem with the focus when launching it though. It should not be that way if the script is written correctly.

While 'yes', obviously, I can also add that this would be just as dangerous a command as Revert, and would definitely need solid confirmation. So, also — no hotkey by default, please.

    Ashli, interesting.
Most operations don’t really change art as much to make a difference in the overall look of the artwork, so this would be more like scrubbing a video...

What do you have in mind? The whole artwork across all artboards and beyond them?
Only objects that have the changes? Only the cropped artboard that had the change? What if the change spanned across several artboards? Outside of any artboard?

Are you familiar with snapshots in Photoshop, when you manually choose which state you want to save and return to after?
Does it fit your idea more, then having a thumbnail for every operation?

Scripts are indeed powerful. But changes are inevitable.
Scripts can be corrected to run with new versions.
You have to reach out to the author or fix them yourself.
If you want help with scripts — go to Adobe forums in the Scripting session and share you problem there, perhaps more experienced users can help.
If it’s a bug — come back with details, examples, test files, so the team can investigate it.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Illustrator Beta is now live on Windows for ARM devices (with Qualcomm Snapdragon X-Elite processors) through emulation mode — for the English locale.

The product team is actively exploring the availability for non-English users, and expects it to be available in a future releases.

As replied before, so far these apps would work only on Snapdragon X Elite chips only — not X Plus, like you have (X1P64100 is from X Plus series, not X Elite).
Supposedly teams are going to extend the support later, but not immediately.
I am merging this request with the larger one you recently commented on.
As soon as apps start supporting more chips, the status of the request will be updated.

There is a dedicated request about ARM support: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/39773989-support-for-windows-64-bit-arm64-devices — now marked as Started.
Since yours one is about the same matter, I will merge it shortly.

Ah, I see what you mean now. It seems your ARM device with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 onboard can’t run desktop applications.
ARM support has only begun recently, and so far most Adobe apps who announced it work with Snapdragon X Elite chips only — not X Plus.
I am afraid you won’t be able to complete your assignments in time with this particular device. Sorry!

Whoever told you this particular one will support all Adobe apps must have made a mistake...
Both InDesign and Illustrator specifically officially noted the current requirements:

    Hi Everyone,

The fix has been rolled out and is available in our latest release build – 29.3.0 which is available worldwide now.

Now groups get the applied appearance positioned above the Contents in the Appearance panel.

    What’s new in 29.3: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html

You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Thank you for all the feedback.

@Eimantas, thanks for the comments, this is exactly the case.
@Colin, if you want the objects inside of a group to change the color, you have to modify the options for the tool.
Pick Eyedropper tool, press Enter to open the Eyedropper Options dialog, and uncheck both Appearance options above. This would prevent assigning the appearance of the green rectangle to the whole group (because that’s what applying appearance means).
However you are right, this is not normal. The sampled fill (as I see it) should have been applied on top of the contents, and not below — I assume this is what you are seeing in the Appearance panel when you select the group.

@Colin, please share the test file and the recording of the attempt to make it work (and the but with the collapsing dropdown as well).
I want to see what’s happening and how I can help.

Heh, Ai has a lot of rivals today :)
Panos, do you have both Appearance options checked in the Eyedropper tool’s options?
Sampling groups and other objects differs a lot with these. Try to toggle them and see if it starts to behave as you expect.

An error occurred while saving the comment
AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) commented  ·

    Yes, I confirm that.
For some reason it started happening some time ago for source objects that have a fill below a stroke (a default order of appearance items). Picked appearance goes below Contents. It works fine for objects with the manually changed order of fill and stroke.
Merging this with a more recent report.
    Thanks for your time, Tomas.

My pleasure, Angeline. This tool is both easy and hard to embrace without some experimenting with Appearance panel. Official help lacks info on this behaviour.

AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) commented  ·

The SOLUTION might be to open the Eyedropper Tool options and untick top checkmarks in both columns. Otherwise your picked style goes under the 'Contents' (check the Appearance stack if you are experiencing this), and is obstructed by it.
'Unticked Appearance mode' is a default one and it seems that Ai sometimes changes these options without a user knowing. I already saw several reports about this.
Please comment if this solves it for you.

It looks like you have all options checked in Eyedropper tool’s options, right?
Text is a special kind of group that has your glyphs as live components inside. So when all options are checked for the tool, it grabs the fill color and applies it to whole group, covering individual fill of your glyphs! Try to untick 'Appearance' in both columns and see how it works after.

Illustrator and InDesign are different apps, although look close, and their hotkeys were originally designed for different workflows.
However, both apps allow to customize their keyboard shortcuts, and one can choose the one hey like most.
InDesign also allow to use a dedicated set for those who migrated from Illustrator. But I’d just advise either reassign them the way you need, of learn the difference.

If you still think that all Adobe apps should have the same hotkeys, even though it may harm the accessibility of unique functions, you can upvote this general request:
